Couple of things. The UMP is a great gun. M249 is huge and heavy but it should fetch a good price. Arm guard is for protecting the forearm when using a bow. It goes nicely with that Robinhood outfit. Get in the habit of fixing your stuff with the toolboxes, especially if you don't have room to take it with you. If you don't want something when you search, drop it on the floor so something else can respawn and your skill increases too. P.S. Too bad you don't have a chainsaw to help in building your shelter, oh wait, you have 3 of them 😁

A few tips for you: 1: In your next playthrough the higher level “brawling” level you have, the faster you will punch the zombies when you click the middle mouse button holding your bow out. 2: When you use the chainsaw cutting down trees and logs in planks, you actually get more of that item, so you get more planks when you cut down logs, and logs when you cut down trees. 3: I’m pretty sure when you craft ammo at a drill press it is 100% durability compared to when you craft ammo at your workbench it is 50% durability. 4: You should make an improvised wheelbarrow with an improvised wheel to carry many logs faster to your base for faster base building. 5: If you shoot the Suicide Zombies on the head with a bow or gun, it will be knocked out in the ground and is safe to walk by, then with wire cutters you can take off C4 parts by walking up to it and disarming it. I REALLY wouldn’t recommend this because it is very difficult, and if you fail it explodes and basically ruins your clothes, and gives you a guaranteed C4 injury which leads to death. But you can practice this by making a practice bomb, or buying it from the armory at the traders.

33:30 NOOOO, You could have FILLED that Red Hiking bag, and carried EVERYTHING in your hands. Back to base, or trader. It's easy to toss the bag on the ground and pop your weapon out if need be. I travel with two hiking bag pretty often. Good tactic, until you get a car. Then it's still good to have spare hiking bags in the trunk too.

Building at point of interest (e.g. gas station) is very painful. If you want more building freedom, look for a nice empty spot in nature. Also, some other tips: 1. If you place your flag down, you have already claimed the land which is bordered by that blue circle around you. I think the video you watched was talking about multiplayer where you can claim other players' flags. 2. Window fortifications don't work on those big windows in gas station. They work on regular houses in cities, villages etc. 3. If you ever play multiplayer, I would never choose this spot for base since you can barely build there and you can't lock the doors. A lot of servers don't allow you to build in gas stations either. 4. You can drain fuel from one canister to another. I would always take the big one since it holds more fuel, and the quality of that gas canister doesn't really matter. As someone else said, learning everything in Scum is the best part of the game! Also, if you're looking for a car, the repairable one will be different. You can't search those, and if you open your inventory while being near them, the car will show up in vicinity.

The fence you went out of to go to the drop is where you should enter if you go back to that POI. There is a building in there with about 13 locked containers on the second or third level and you will get a ton of guns out of there…

when you chop a tree pick up the log and take it to where you want the planks before chopping into planks. Also unpacking the ammo box (eg 9mm) and load into HS9 magazine would saved you space. Store items in backpacks, and backpacks in chests

for the alternators, each variant (WW, Laika, Rager) are for the different vehicles. You'll more than likely need 1 for any vehicle you try to find. You CAN get a car running without the alternator, but it'll kill your battery over time if you run the lights on it and during start up. if you've ever played DayZ, the WW is the Gunter, and the Laika is the ADA 4x4, rager is just a pickup truck thats really loud for no reason (idk if that effects puppets or not lol, might just be an audio issue)

@@TorakOfficial not quite. collect car parts as you go. look for laika (green car) small suv, (red car) small hatchback, Rager (light brown) pick-up truck. All will be damaged/missing partsyou need to repair them to use them. Drop pod: when you find a spare backpack at the drop pod fill it and carry it in your hands when you exit the pod. return home and fill your chests and now you have a spare backpack. Option: when raiding towns etc. take the empty spare backpack in you backpack. When you've filled remaining space in your pack, start filling the spare pack (now you must carry spare pack in your hands from now on). Downside: Pack can become heavy, slowing you down and using more stamina. Also if you draw a weapon you will drop the spare pack and might forget to pick it up in the heat of the moment. At home base start making wardrobes instead of chests, for a lot of stash space. When you need to poop, wait until your colon is 100% full before pooping and you might find a (pleasant?) surprise in your poop. Thanks for uploading, great vid.

@@TorakOfficial Poops not for sniffin'. I've seen people find anything from a cigar to ammo to 2ltr. soda bottle to a MP5 and at halloween a pumpkin. Mostly though its just poop. The fixable cars around the Island can be used as loot stashes when playing single player.

Also you found a suppressor for the Pistole as well. I believe some type of laser too. Not only does putting them onto the Pistole save slots in the backpack, it also is stealthier when killing infected/puppets!

Your carbon arrows do not necessarily gets destroyed by the laughing boomer. Go to where they exploded and see if you can find the part of the body you hit and your arrow should be stuck on it. Hitting them on the torso makes it easier to find your arrow

Now it starts to get really interesting, now you saw, maybe, 5%, or less, what the game can offer😉 And here some more tips (or also called "fifty shades of scum"🤣); About the well, it need some time to get filled and only one well each flag area, you could take everything from the drops because you can hold an extra full backpack in your hands, you just don't know that, The outside walls or fence-walls have also doorframes (person and vehicle), the housewalls are only placeble on foundations, the flag area have an limitation what you can build in there (it counts everything), but i'm not sure about the amount in the single player setting, AP means armor piercing and TR means tracer. For this special place i'm really not sure but i think it is also blocked like the most other POIs (standart setting in single player), sorry man, i really thought it were possible there (the location is perfect, that's clear!!!). What you can do is try to build the fence-walls direct along the outside wall from that building and some doorframes where are also the doors in the building (sidenote: try to build a wardrobe inside, if that don't work then it's not worth it too) OR try to build nearby at your own (little cabin, fence-walls around it etc.) OR try to overtake a famers/privat house in that sector, that must work (locks on the doors and fortification on open windows), sorry again. I hope that will not reduce your fun with the game in general! You're surviving very well! Nice greetings

So regarding cars and different driving vehicles..u will always find them with some parts missing. Wheel, seat or even an engine. U need to find the missing part then and mount it. For that u use car jack. It is easier with bicycle because u could only miss a wheel but they dot have a storage. Good luck out there ;)

Still enjoying the videos. I miss the early days of scum learning everything with fresh eyes. Just tip/explanation of the area you are building in. Gas stations are spawn points for puppets and will spawn 1-2 Beepers and 5-10 various puppets every 15- 20 mins you are within proximity of the gas station. It'll make it interesting to live there. Some do spawn within the big main building as well sometimes. Just don't be surprised if they appear within your base and walls. The other thing you can run into is in vanilla gameplay certain items are build blocked. I'd suggest securing from the inside and working your way out. That way you have an escape area. For building your own building you will likely be able to behind the big building. Place foundations first and then you walls ect.

Don't forget you can actually carry stuff in your free hand. So if making a trader run, you can fill up a spare bag and just carry it. Just be mindful where you drop it if you come across puppets and have to shoot. Or best just run through bushes and avoid them when making a trader run. Same if you want to carry a spare gun. You can always run with the bow in your hand.

Stab-proof vest is for puppet, because when they attack there is chance it will hit the vest ( its not 100% protection, puppet might hit other part of your body which is you will take damage). The other type of armor vest is only for gunfire protection and useless to use it for puppet but it have inventory slot and its very heavy.

Here is something that you should do. The staircase that leads to the 2nd floor, on the last flight of stairs before they get to your 2nd floor, set up walls and a door. That way, your actual living area on the 2nd floor is secure. Once you have that secured, go ahead and reinforce the first floor. Once the first floor is fully reinforced, then you can knock down the door on the flight of stairs. That is how I would do it, especially since the puppets seem to be spawning a lot in and around the building. Otherwise, if you do not use the method I outlined, you will have more and more puppets attacking you where you do not want them to, on the 2nd floor.

Keep a pistol on you at all times to shoot the Beepers so you don’t lose your good arrows. You should also be keeping extra hiking backpacks to store your loot in boxes because you can store more stuff…

You are missing a load of loot. On ammo/gun crates and such they are often stacked on top of one another. you can loot each and every one of them one at the time. Also the tarped covered stuff most often each and every one can be looted even if they look to be part of the same. This game is very detailed. you are fun to watch. thank you .

Hmmmm..I would suggest that you sealed the stairs and can only enter with a strong door..you enter the upper stories through a cable's that you slide in there ..can build multiple tower with cables in and out so if one entrance are not safe you can enter or exit to another side...

I started playing scum in my laptop Have 20 fps 😂😂😂 So anyway I started , crafted some items like stone knife, bow and backpack, them started running to nearest village , found a FRIKIN bear 🐻 , somehow managed to kill it with the spear , YEAH I MYSELF DONT KNOW HOW 😂😂😂😂, had to strip myself up as I had 2 c4 injuries 😂 AND 6% health left , still survived then had another encounter with the wolf 😂, two actually, they murdered me , all that happened in first 20 minutes of gameplay 😂
