Fun fact about 5:51 The reason why Termina Field is empty on the first cycle is because the game sets a special flag at the start of a new game that disables most of the active actors available, including the background music. Even the skybox uses a different color pallete, and the in-game time is slightly faster. This flag gets removed once the Ocarina of Time is available on your inventory.

That Stalchild skull on Gomess' scythe made me think of a scenario for a side quest. When you interact with the Stalchildren at the graveyard, some of them could have mentioned a lost friend, maybe point out a distinguishing feature like a scar or a crack. After the Gomess fight, the scythe would be interactable if you got close enough. A crack in the skull would be pointed out and you'd be given the option to take it with you to bring back to the Stalchildren. A cutscene would play of them grieving their fallen friend and putting him to rest once and for all in the graveyard, showing that, in Termina, even the dead grieve.

@@qumxlinger1081 Besides the Fierce Deity Mask not working for all of Gyorg and Twinmold, along with them getting second phases that require the use of the Zora/Giant's masks, I don't remember any other bosses/minibosses losing methods to defeat them.

@@joshuareesor1756 you're forgeting Odolwa, literally all the ways there was to damage him where taken away in favor of hiting his new eye with the deku nut, with the exception of the fierce deity mask of course since they already nerfed It enough by not making It able to finish off two of the only 5 fights It can be used at

@@arthuralexander1449 What do you mean? You can still hit Odolwa with the sword, arrows, bombs, or Deku form. The Deku is given far more utility and is now actually useful against him instead of almost worthless like in the original, but you can still do the other methods to stun and hit him. And I see Gyorg as the only significant loss to Fierce Diety's utility (which is still half the fight), as it was always the worst way to fight Twinmold compared to the Giant's mask or Fire/Ice arrows. Plus, he gets some use in the new fishing ponds, so it balances out in practical utility.

I actually knew about that one way to exit clock town by back walking during the first 3 Day Cycle. I used it to surprise my friend during a stream once. LOL Here's a neat thing I found out about the area inside the moon, if you look down at it from a bird's eye view the area is shaped like the Mask of Truth with the large tree at the center serving as the Eye of the Mask.

You can actually complete a heart container as Deku Link within the 1st 3 day cycle. You can obtain these 4 heart pieces in Clock Town as Deku Link during this cycle. The 1st one can be obtained on the Clock Tower deck after trading the Moon’s Tear. The 2nd one can be obtained by winning the postman’s game on nights 1 and 2. The 3rd one can be obtained by trading the title deed at the inn after midnight. The 4th one can be obtained by winning the Deku Playground game 3 times each day.

Hi there ! i'm gonna share with you guys a glitch that i encounter 2 time in a row 10 years ago. I was training for a race with a friend (european version of majora's mask, no cheats allowed, no glitch except "gainer"). In the very first cycle i was curious of some games reaction : Can i have the tall purse ? can i collect a ful heart, can i get the song of soaring , etc. On the third day i was in southern swamp, i cannot go back in clock town before the game over, so i jump from the witch house just before the countdown reach zero. the cutscene goes on and something happenend on the cutscene with the happy mask guy. the cutscene to turn link back in a human trigger out of nowhere. The Ocarina appera in my inventory. I imediatly load a savestate and the same result. Next i start a new game to test it again. but not a single try works. I found a glitch but was not capturing videos of it T.T I called it the skull skip. My english is quite rusty sorry ^^

The empty field is because the game checks for ocarina if you dont have it dosnt spawn enemys because the only way with out ocarina to see the field was to get the moon tear, and there are no enemys in to get the lag down, and thats why its empty

I got one for you: when I was 8 playing this game for what reason I don't know both save files deleted themselves and when starting anew Link kept dropping dead after every cutscene. when I did get control of him there was no heart counter, it was blank. and the drop dead thing kept happening. after epona gets stolen you die, turned into a deku you die, talk with the mask salseman you die, then it kept looping the deaths with a whole new cutscene at the great fairy you can't see under normal circumstances. after that I made a whole new file and things were normal. I don't know what caused this or how to activate it on demand. and being the early 2000's looking things up online wasn't as easy. if you can find a way to die in the fairy fountain you might be able to see this cutscene.
