The bazaar animation bit seems like either a glitch or weird design choice. It’d be nice if it got patched, the sounds and animations made the place feel alive

Totally agreed. This makes the HD version somehow... less rich in aesthetics, and as HD it shouldn't be! Same with the distant 2D objects that get culled out. Why didn't they notice that and made it better? It's not like the Switch cannot handle the graphics otherwise :v

The painting distant effect is beautifull on Wii. They should bring it back with an on/off toggle.

Nice comparasion video! 😙 The most intresting change is the one of rendering distance objects at 1:31. Its seems the Switch hardware uses an diferent engine of how objects are rended, however they didn't account of the original game's object placement, resulting the visual of some areas looking odd from far away camera. I see the fences looking less cooler than the Wii's version. This is only my theory. 😂👍

Maybe you’re right. But they should definitely fix this in a patch as it is off putting to have the fence invisible from a distance and then appear as you get closer. Especially since it wasn’t like that in the original game

Obvious changes not mentioned yet: 1) In Switch items are equipped & used with the same button: ZR. On Wii items were equipped with "B" but used with "A". 2) Tilting L Joycon up brings the shield out for defense. Since Wii didn't have a Gyro on Nunchuck both guarding & bashing worked by flinging the Nunchuck fast. 3) When parrying just the left Joycon vibrates, in the Wii the Nunchuck didn't have vibration. So Switch has stereo rumble now. 4)Wii version auto calibrates when sensor bar is in WiiRemote field of view.

That's right. I remember on Wii you have to press different buttons (I think it's first B and then A) to cancel using your clawshots while hanging on a vine or target. I always pressed it wrong lol. This is improved on Switch.

@@notsocooldude7720 You have more options to control the camera than wth a traditional Dual Analog controller. There's plenty of Wii games with free camera control. Even at E3 2006 Twlight Princess had it implemented, that was before Nintendo revisited the control sheme with the 4 use slots.

You could target that lever in the cistern from bellow… unless you were in button mode. Otherwise I did the intended solution.

@@shigerumiyamoto9612 Nintendo tends to be really bad about fixing glitches and quality of life issues that aren’t game breaking. It’s irritating some times when they do like 95 units of work but refuse to do 5 more post launch to completely polish the experience.
