This machine shows you can have an HE machine that uses little water and still get your clothes very clean thanks to the recirculating pump to keep the flow of water going over them while the wash plate "scrubs" your clothes!

I never knew what to make of these machines when they were new. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to things I guess. They are kind of cool but also strange and I didn't want to be a guinea pig with these machines . To those of you who still use them I say more power to you. Enjoy !

that has to be the fastest and the most aggressive agitation ive ever seen on a High Efficiency top loader.

kelly savage It has multiple speeds. Whitest Whites cycle runs at "normal" nutation speed. Heavy Duty is a little faster. Wool and Handwash are slowest.

Hand wash is very gentle and the casual and delicate cycle has soft agitation with soak action

A nice thing about it is it'll do a full-hot wash temperature on any cycle. Has ATC but that comes into play only for Warm and Cold (also has tap cold).

Bleach dispense at 13:02. It flushes the dispenser a couple more time at later points in the cycle to help avoid residue affecting subsequent loads.

My parents had one of these it was a great washer however the seal on the outside of the agertator to the wash drum was going bad it was starting to eat clothes there is also a circulation pump that was going out it was expensive to fix so my parents decided not to fix it.

I just thought that it would be interesting if the machine would fill up like a regular washer and the agitator would turn around instet of jumping up and down. I guess this would be a great machine 😊

Daniel da Boss the wash plate turns in a way that the clothes jump on each other and also the fins on the bottom of the plate, but it did it in a way that the machine would turn over the clothes perfectly

Maybe a couple hundred at the most, likely much less. Considering they only made maybe a couple thousand of them to begin with, most of which were plagued with reliability issues as they were discontinued right as many of the kinks were getting worked out. they were also always expensive and hard to fix so most people would just throw them away and buy something else. I have only ever seen two in a 12 year period and that’s actively looking. I was lucky enough to snag the second one.

Imagine if this machine’s internals were built out of forged stainless and baked enamel steel, if the parts were more durable the reliability would have been way better. All I see with the newest washers is mostly plastic.

It washes very well. The load rolls over from outside to center at the same time it rotates around counterclockwise through the recirculation stream.

I bought mine at a local garage sale (matched set), refurbed the washer and have used it as my daily driver since late 2008.

It washes very well, i had one for 3 years and the only reason I didn’t fix it was because the guy said it was an expensive fix so i let it go but this machine did a bomb ass job on whites, comforters and jeans. Never had an issue with it leaving my laundry dirty, it was discontinued because of mold issues like the neptune back in the days, these HE washers came out too soon and ppl were not cleaning them properly or letting them vent once a while and were also using regular detergent even tho the dispenser says to use HE. It was also discontinued because it shreds towels unfortunately

Mr. Mitch Infinit AKA: BiggySmoove A little over 1 gallon to satisfy the water level sensor on an empty run (no clothes) and maintain recirculation. More total water when loaded since the clothes absorb it until the level switch is happy.
