I think this was the channel that showed the yellow cloth on the top that went down when the speed Queen didn't pull the rag down ? I That's the reason I ended up choosing this. I have to say the spin is impressive and the clothes come out really dry and they smelled so fresh.Compared to our old cabrio, we were both shocked.

I had the MVWP575 and after 4 years it started to die, with the actuator and sludge that was replaced 2 times. Whirlpool ended up replacing it a month ago with the newer MVWP586. It seems to be higher quality. I tested the later levels, and the low and medium are only about 2-4" of water, high a half filled, and deep water is mostly filled.

i have the Commercial model without the water level adjustments...it has worked well for me over the years...I like the water level adjustments on this one better but mine has a 10 yr warranty

washes very similar to our new "GE" top load. Few things I hate: 1) the SLOW filling! I removed the flow restrictors as the 10min fill up was ridiculous. 2) the coasting spin stop. It takes forever with a large load...

I will only recommend it as long as I bypass the lid switch so I can put forgotten items in. At least it has an agitator it gets it really clean even though this model is gentle on clothes.

It just so damn NOISY!!!😱 I bought this model 2 1/2 years ago… and it washes pretty well… though it has torn holes in some T-Shirts and Bed Sheets… And they were fairly new Sheets… one their 2nd or 3rd wash and same for the T-Shirts!

Have you checked for any sharp points on the agitator or basket? I've seen plastic burs on agitators before that could possibly tear stuff. Might need to file it down.

Agree with @MrSilence99 .Also, check your dryer. My LG dryer had these metal pieces used for automatic dry that was snagging the clothes. I have not had this issue with my Maytag mvwp575gw, which I've owned for over 6 years now.

Mine on occasion, will sometimes Glich out and not fill properly. Mainly, if I interrupt it by opening and closing the door at the start. 'I use the pause button now.' and I also listen for the complete 6min fill time at the start. I had noticed that some of my older bath towels had developed some holes at the beginning but I assume a low water level fill on power wash had caused it. I don't like that the finns aren't completely attached at the bottom. They want it flexible, but it obviously snagged a few of my towels during a failed fill power wash.😂 I understand it now and I'm really happy with it tho.😎👍

Oh wow that's terrible. I haven't had that issue but it is a very noisy machine, but mine is located in my basement so it doesn't really bother me, but it's definitely loud. I wouldn't want it in a spot that was closer to my living space.

I don't know much about the mechanics of cars or washers, but I feel like the new age belt drive washers (post direct drive machines) sound like the motors aren't powerful enough, are struggling. and will break down any minute, along with the belts. Any experts who can explain if this is true? Thanks for any input.

Don't even have to be much of an expert. Listen to the motor throughout the wash, you can hear it start to bog down lol. They just don't make em like they used to. Compare this machine to a 90's Maytag Dependable care or Whirlpool Direct Drive and break em down. Old ones win every time!

Wash action seems alright. One thing I really don't like about it is a lack of a brake, so it takes forever to slow down from spinning, like a lot of machines made today.

I should have considered buying this washer instead of the 2018 Speed Queen TR 5 Series WASHER. The Old School Speed Queen TC 5000 Series returned in 2019. I needed a washer back in 2018 when my 1992 Maytag went on the fritz leaking water and transmission oil. In 2018 the only SPEED QUEENS are the TR SERIES, TR3, TR5, AND TR7.

TC is likely better. I've had both the TC and TR, the TR cleans just fine, and silent by comparison. People bag on it too much for no reason.

@@sinister184 TR is fine for lightly soiled items, but not for muddy or deep stains. You need a TC5 for that.

A differenza dell'Europa che adotta i 230v domestici...che poi le lavatrici Europee si hanno i riscaldatori..ma ci mettono ( vecchi modelli ) max 2:00h ma le nuove tipo LG Samsung Beko Bosch Siemens Midea Haier 3:30 per ciclo heavy duti!!! Io per fortuna qui in Italia da me ho una Samsung Top-load ( modello Usa ) convertita in 230v e la tratto come una reliquia vivendo solo...non la uso tutti i giorni....ora sto cercando una top-load Speed queen ( diffuse anche qui ma per uso commerciale ) oppure una Maytag come questa che sono in trattativa...vogliono 600€ più o meno 700$ Americani ma è in effetti il modello Whirpool CAE commercial marchiato Maytag

We have clothes washers with heaters in them. It just not on many of them. The voltage is not an issue. I have a Samsung machine with a heater and it uses about 1800 watts when the heat is switched on and it brings the water up to 165 degrees. I wish it would just let me use my hot water because the water heater is already set to around that temp. Would save me some money on electricity.

The bypass switch is just an extra latch actuator. Take the existing latch actuator off the edge of the lid and put it into the slot. Same thing. If you want an extra actuator, look up your model number at an online parts source and order one.

I soooo badly want this machine, but keep hearing some bad reviews (re: multiple repairs needing done) on it. Should I take those reviews with a grain of salt and go for this machine anyways? I'd love to know thoughts from your expert team! Also, PLEASE do more videos with various cycle/water level/clothing and/or bedding material combos!! This washer, it's agitator, and ASMR sounds of the motor and water splashing back and forth are so calming LOL. I also wanna see how it handles different varieties of clothing and bedding. Thank you guys so much for all the videos of it so far, I watch them constantly!! And the 4K quality is AMAZING!😋😋😁

with commercial washers, noise level is secondary. it isn't much louder than a speed queen, if at all, although the TC5 does run smoother.

It not supposed to, it washes by forcing water through the clothes. People have to get over the old way washers work.

Because it is actually full of water and agitating clothing, pulling more water and soap through the clothes and washing them. If you need a quieter machine, this one may not be for you, but I prefer it over any other new machine, it is almost like an old washing machine that actually fills up with water, uses hot water, and actually cleans my clothes. I had a front load Maytag at my old house for about 10 years. I could sometimes take a load of pants out and straighten them out, and there would be areas of the clothing that were not even wet, were not exposed to water at all. Not clean.

This is a 'modern' machine? Looks just like a machine I bought in the late 90s, and even that had been around since the 60's. A truly modern machine does at least another 4 pairs of pants, fills in about 30 seconds (nice speedup you did there), is able to heat it's own water, has all DC pumps and motors to keep the machine silent until final spin, has a bulk detergent dispenser, has a final spin about twice this rate, and finally it dries the load when it's done washing. Minimum requirements. If I wanted old tech, I 'd go and buy an older set of Whirlpools for a couple hundred bucks.

@@artstechi would recommend a front load LG 100%. they are quiet, run fast cycles (except for the heavy duty and sanitation type cycles). as long as you maintain it well, it will treat you very well

He’s stocked the machines for five years, he’s not saying that this particular unit is 5 years old. He did a video on a another that was used pretty much 24/7 and filmed the results on that.
