It was a challenge to understand if the digital number #3 was the 3rd click. The video didn't show the the digital screen so I had to run it over a few time to understand. I however did get to where I had to power down the machine WT5170 unplug the unit press and hold down the power nub for 5 seconds and it cleared the error code E6. Plug unit back and power up and was working. Thanks for the video.

What codes are on the display for each press of the button. Im looking specifically for the 8th press, The drain agitate, Code. Thanks I have a WT1101CW and got it into diag mode and step through steps. Just not sure which step is drain. Thanks!!

My lid locked down and I couldn't see to verify operation when testing. When I tried to keep the lid up from the start, the machine would not self test.

How do you know if any test failed? Mine keeps stopping in spin mode and won’t let me pause or stop. I’m having to unplug.

Sold the machine on offer up for 150 then bought me a Kenmore industrial that machine is amazing thought the tub was gonna be too small but I do some big loads.

Put new drain pump in with new wiring harness;no draining. Tried just a spin cycle no draining. Did the test mode after installing pump nothing tried old harness with new pump and other way around. Nothing. If anyone can help it would be appreciated had this for 13 plus years and it has been strong figured I would at least try to fix before buying new.

my LG took a shit after 7 years and despite living 20 mi outside of Milwaukee there's nobody authorized to do LG warranty repair work. I maintain the shit out of this thing and probably only did two loads of laundry a week. the hall effect sensor went bad like they do on every single LG machine ever made and ever will be made. absolute fucking garbage. LG stands for Lucky Gold Star but they don't call it that because it's a stupid name in English but it's cool as hell in chinese. Chinese God damn garbage
