Finesse is one of the primary reasons to this day I'm still making beats and writing rhymes in my basement..lol. The Funky Technician album changes my whole perspective on hip-hop and the game in general. This man is an unsung pioneer of the modern hip-hop era. Props due.

There were so many ill beats on this EP/album that I wanted to hear Finesse rip to pieces, but they were only used for interludes. Especially the tracks that Doo-Wop and Lyte were talking over. Was mad disappointed in the project back then for that reason, but so glad I have this in my collection now like what was said in the video.

Lord Finesse has skills on the beats too, He can do those funky smooth head boppin' tracks or he can switch it up and come with those dark,sinister,creepin' up on you in the night type of beats.
