I played this with choir and orchestra on my flute. It’s really difficult to reflect on Christ’s mercy and play at the same time knowing that God’s mercy I never deserved, but still he gave it to me

I remember this song from when I was a little girl. I've always kept it close to my heart. This is Heaven. A beautiful reminder as well of our humanity and Who God is to us. A God of mercy. This song reminds me that even on my BEST days, I need God's mercy and need to keep my hope in Him.

This is soooooo needed, the authentic worship, and the bowing our hearts humbly before the Lord, praying for mercy for us, our families, our households, our neighborhoods, our communities, our cities and counties, our states, our countries, and for the world. May healing commence for our land, in Jesus' name, Amen.

I have been loosely associated with a movement of God's people called Awakening America Alliance. as a believer in Christ, it is my prayer that all God's children will heed 2 Chron 7:14 and in so doing the universal Church will unite in prayer and fasting for revival of the Holy Spirit to work in our land. With our government pushing views contrary to the Word of God, we in the church need to repent and cry out to the Lord for His mercy, to help us as God's children, repent, seek His face and turn from our wicked idolatrous lives, and seek His mercy, perhaps then He may relent from His righteous judgement of our land. This song is my hearts cry for this land we live. Lord lift up your name through Your church, help us to glorify You. Please bring revival to our land.
@brianmears33886 жыл бұрын
Some churches and social justice "Christians", like John Piper, David Platt and Russell Moore, and their followers will have none of this, unfortunately. They are globalistic people. 😡 Yes, our land needs revival! 2 Chronicles 7:14 🇺🇸🙏 I love this powerful anthem too, which I can play on the piano.

Believe me Tim knows the music well, that's why at 5:08 he turns the page with his eyes closed. And if you wish he was louder, perhaps you should blame the sound man rather than the soloist. I would far rather get lost focusing on the message of the song rather than nitpick. As I grow older and my awareness of my sinfulness grows the message of this song grows more powerful. It was difficult holding back tears when we sang it and it often still brings tears to my eyes now when I listen.
@videodistro3 жыл бұрын
The soloist is only part of the choir and should not be way out front the whole time. Notice that he is held back during particular parts of the song, when the focus is on "us" and not "me". It was mixed as meant to be and not blindly focusing only on the single person on stage.
