Piggy was the same as Jack he just wasn’t in a position where he was in power anymore. He was a man completely molded by society and when taken out of it couldn’t do anything. Still when he used Ralph’s ability he used it to try and oust Jack. Piggy got what he deserves. Simon deserved better though.

genuinely didn't expect them to be rescued. after everything had fallen apart and their humanity was fully gone, they finally get saved, and they have to life the rest of their lives with the weight of what happened on the island.

Imagine how much faster they would've gotten rescued if Jack took his head out of his ass and they all kept a fire like they were supposed to. It boggles my mind that Jack let's the fire go out earlier in the book, and then still has the audacity to get mad and think he is right and knows what he is doing. I also find it funny that Jack is the one to start the fire that's saved them, tho it was unintentional.

@@xoxo.torinoelleik it pisses me off too but I also realized that when jack let the fire go out it had been weeks on the island and he and a bunch of the group started to lose faith in Ralph bc all Ralph was saying was that they had to keep the fire going and they would be rescued and like imagine you are on a island and u haven’t seen a sign of a ship for weeks and the leader keeps saying to just trust him, I think I would start to lose faith too. And that’s why I think jack left the group in like chapter 7 or 8

It's as though Simon knew too much about the island. Like it had a curse. Almost like the island had its own plans for Simon. An entity of mystery and misery beyong human comprehension. The background music near the end helps create the vision with the emotion it conveys. We're reading this in class and soon a test I'm sure.

I just finished it and omg 😭the ending was so moving, and I literally felt like in a movie with the soundtrack (better than a movie). I was on the verge of tears with Ralph and he remembering Piggy❤ you did an amazing job with this audiobook!

This novel has consumed me so much, that now I almost feel detached from reality. This is world. Maddening. They’re truly no words. The sound effects are marvellous and I get absorbed into them, feel like a journey of some sort. Thank you for the hard work though! If it weren’t for this, i’d totally be failing tomorrow!

Even though this is certainly not my favorite chapter - except that i do love the conversation with Sam and Eric, and the one with the officer at the end, and that there are many other great moments and thoughts, for example the one about claiming pax - i expected that it is particularly good for dramatization in an audiobook. And indeed, i must say i enjoyed your performance a lot. Well done, thanks, and congrats for completing the full series, which must have been a massive amount of work, even if supposedly also great fun to do it. :-)

The music and sound effects add so much. You could even go farther and have different voice actors for different characters. This made me realize audio books have so much more potential than just the standard solo reader with no background. One could even ad illustrations to help people visualize things. Loved this

I started tearing up at the end. They are just little boys 🥺and only realized the game they got carried away in and how messed up and tragic and traumatizing it was! poor piggy, and simon, and the scared face boy. I really want to see Jacks reaction tho when they run into the officer.

Warning/Edit: Spoilers I just finished this book, and I'm so lost for words. I never expected that ending to come the way it did and I am incredibly blown away with how heavy the book has gotten. Wow, this book was amazing! I didn’t expect that ending at all but I’m glad they all eventually got rescued. Honestly I just feel bad for these poor boys who drove themselves to savages, unrestricted primitive nature, and now have to live the rest of their lives with this trauma and the deaths of Piggy and Simon. Thank you so much for these audiobooks, they’ve been a massive help.

Just finished the book, great read! It's very amusing to see all the commenters say they're doing their high school reading. I'm not a native English speaker and I went to a non-English school so I'm only now catching up on all the British and American classics, but this book is probably better to read as an adult anyway. Great work with all the sound effects! I was listening while at work, and it was much easier to pay attention with all the audio cues. Thank you!

When I started this book, I thought that it was going to be horrible. However, I am pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Also, I think that your music throughout definitely helped with the immersion and feeling of the book. Thanks for the audiobook!

As a reader with ADHD, this was such a good read! Your voice and the sound effects and music make it soo much more engaging and scary at times. Thank you for making these, it helped out so many people besides myself. 100%. (Also, Simon’s death and when the Lord of The Flies starts speaking absolutely BLEW my class away the first time we read it! Even my teacher was shocked, and a little freaked out 😅!)

The part that took me most by surprise, was at the end of the book, when it talked about how jack started so sob. He even started to loudly cry before any of the little’uns. I mean, Jack puts on this big appearance that he’s some big tough guy. But what if Jack wanted to home the whole time and just never said anything. I don’t know, it’s just a thought. 💭

Wow, that's all I can say. The anticipation and emotion of the whole book was incredible. The sound effects made the story ten times better, there were so many parts that made my heart pound so fast. The story was written so beautifully, the detail and descriptions were amazing. Congrats for the author and the narrator! That was incredible!

I am reading this book for my English class. At first I found it really boring and couldn't stand it. I am not much of a reader and go out of my way to avoid it by using SparkNotes or something like that. However I eventually found these audio books and they really kept me enticed and really threw me into the world with the sound effects and music tracks used. I felt like the book had come to life. I found myself wanting more. I read ahead and honestly I fell in love with the story. I just finished reading and the emotion I feel is heart wrenching. My heart feels heavy and I can really sympathize for these kids. This is one of the first times a book has made me feel anything. You did a phenomenal job with this and I really can't thank you enough. You not only sparked my interest in this book but you also have me wanting to read more because of it. I can see from the comments that you have done the same for others. You should be really proud :)

This was all a really good listen. I truly enjoyed every momen of it. Such an intense story with a twist ending. Thank you for the effort that was put into this!

My Language Arts class just finished the entire audiobook; our teacher has been playing the videos as we've been reading along. I have to say this is an amazing reading, and it's been a really great way to immerse us. I, in particular, definitely feel that I wouldn't be able to analyze the book nearly as well if I hadn't heard it happening as I'd read through it.

I just finished this book for my British Lit class, I often have trouble focusing and comprehending when I'm reading on my own. This was the perfect audiobook , I enjoyed it so much, Thank you!!

Its been more than a year but this entire audiobook of LOTF definitely helped me read the book for my English Lit. class. Thank you for the amazing audio and sound effects, you really knew how to make it immersive.

Thank you for making this audio book with the sounds, normally i probably wouldn’t be able to focus on it but the audiobook really helped me enjoy the book!(Also my favourite part is definitely when Simon starts talking to the lord of the flies, it just sounds great to me)
