after that first fumigate, followed by paul, elliot and esmond all making 10+ tokens, I was so hoping to see a second fumigate go off and just watch paul become nigh unkillable

Paul had enough mana to cast Fumigate a 2nd time after finishing Elliot. He could have done that, wait till his turn, eat all the food after casting sam with reduced cost and cast Bilbo as well to finish off the fight since I believe at that state he will have above 111 life. And or able to actually still outvalue Esmond knowing how fast the Hobbits Pre-con actually worked. Just felt a bit weird that Paul throws the game just for this with discarding Fumigate and casting Sam and Frodo only for Esmond to remove them for extra salt.

Oh he definitely considered that, but he did not expect to die at 37 life - not to mention it was our first time playing the decks! It probably wouldn't have saved him anyway, seeing as I was holding up Unbreakable Formation :)

Maybe he just wanted the game to be over, too. Long games with lots of triggers can get tiring and we don't know how long they filmed that day. I know I'm mentally done after ~2 long games and precons are not decks that close out on turn 5.

Love the human tribal. Definitely recommend that people pick it up. Some recommendations I have are: - Add Council of Four which if you have monarch, you get more card draw. - Horn of Gondor for creating a TON of humans - Reflections of Litjarra for copying human spells Some cards that aren't really good in the deck are: - Gimli of The Glimmering Caves - Humble Defector - Harsh Mentor - Denathor Stone Seer And maybe some others but those are the ones I removed from the deck to add cooler stuff
