Don't forget to watch the Intros of every episode. They change every episode with different cities, and regions that will be covered in THAT episode. So make sure ot!

Regarding how much time has passed, just remember that in episode 1 it was stated that it took a month to travel from King's Landing to Winterfell by horseback. Ned Stark arrived in King's Landing at the beginning of this episode, so it has been about a month since the end of episode 1.

Sorry, it was in episode 2 that Ned Stark left Winterfell.

While watching Arya training, Ned started hearing the clash of metal swords. A little combat flashback creeping in there. That's what was on Ned's mind there. 🙂

@@SJHD In part but it was a bit of ptsd more likely. He has seen serious stuff and was very likely revisiting.

Bit of trivia, that's in the script but easy to miss: Jorah Mormont, the knight riding with Danaerys, is the son of Jeor Mormont, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch (Jon's new boss, big burly guy with a beard).

All men are made of water, hence the water dance (sword play). There are other reasons for the water dance as well, but that's for the future.

I love how you don't shy away from the racy humour like some reactors do. LOL.

Each episode is roughly a month, most of the time. Not only can seasons last years, but they can be really short too. So you can go years of winter, then have spring-summer-autumn in a week and right back to years of winter, and anything between.

Loving watching this through your eyes! Couple things: yes, when Ned brought Jon Snow back to Winterfell, he and Cat had been married for at least some time. Regarding Jon's mom and other circumstances...stay tuned. Just...stay tuned.

Thanks for another great reaction 😍 One thing to keep in mind with this incredibly long series…you will get answers…eventually but be patient because you will need to wait a long time and be alert to listen for the little bits they toss out in all of the great dialogue. The writing in the earlier seasons, is quite good, when they had a plethora of book material.

GoT was partly based on the Wars of the Roses: Lancaster vs York would be here Lannisters vs Starks. This is the reason for the passive-aggressive interactions we've seen between their members.

Be sure to watch the history and lore videos after each season. They are animated shorts voiced by the actors from the show that were included with the DVD box sets. Many of your questions are answered in them.

I love your analysis, these types of episodes are set up for later... that changes the game..." A lot of ppl watxhung a new show dont get this. They would often it is "boring" or "slow." You need these types of episodes to get the explosive ones later in ANY show.

The glasses were deff needed this episode! Lore and world building maxed up in this one! I’m fairly certain mojito was on my lap the entire episode 😍

In the books Arya was only 9 here. Funny scene in the book Arya was sulking in her room, and one of Ned's servants asked Arya are you in there? She shouted no! Servant left, but through Arya's POV, as a child, she mused that servant was never very bright.

I think this episode starts to set up a lot of plotlines and questions. Who is Jon's mother? Will Arya become a warrior? What will happen now that Daenerys is pregnant? How will Bran adapt? Will Sansa marry Joffrey and eventually become the queen? Will Viserys continue to act like a whiny, petulant, violent child? Will Catelyn continue to believe that Tyrion hired the assassin to kill Bran (because no one else believes that - he's not that stupid)? Will Ned help Robert to stop putting the kingdom deeper in debt? What's the deal with Littlefinger? What's the deal with Lord Varys? What's the deal with Ser Jorah? What will happen north of the Wall with the Wildlings, White Walkers, and wights? How are things going at Winterfell with Robb in charge? These are the questions we all have, along with many more, but when and how they might be answered makes this a very engaging story to watch.

I love your reaction, sincerely. I wish you do reaction video to Stand By Me (1986) and Love You To Death (1990), both were such a good movies and the one and only River Phoenix was there too, also Keanu Reeves in LYTD.
