Also you can have a really compact package for lower fps and a hand cannon for higher. I bought a second one recently and installed the spring fixes from DZ and they work great but I'll be quad wielding them with 2 of these soon too lol. That'll be a BAMF loadout. Add in a modded Sentinel and it's the coolest gunslinger loadout ever.

one thing I dont like is the hammer returning automatically instead of when the trigger is pulled but thats just because it feels cool to have it return on fire, both designs dont actually effect performance or ergo

That would absolutely hurt performance. You’d be working against the weight of the metal hammer. This is well known about the metal hammers for hammer shots.

That's the coolest dart zone blaster I have seen since the MK2.1 as overall blaster. It has sci-fi and western vibes, out all the pro pistols so far I think it makes the best prop.

mind=blown. I thought after the disappointment of the deuce, and the too expensive mag-fed pistols that DZ was never going to give us a true one-hand revolver. My hammershot is retiring for sure, it was never designed for half length and the mods did make it a bit fussy to use.

@@LordDraconical It was the channel Blaster-Time who claimed 172. He didn’t have a chronograph in the video though. Dart Sweep also corrected what they were seeing to 135-140fps. Still, interesting nonetheless.

I saw that video and dont remember him saying 172....and Blaster time also put the chrono numbers up on their site which was listed in the description and you can see it hit between 113 and 130, they even tested with 4 dart types. You sure you didnt misundertand him due to his dutch accent? Hahaha *edit*: lol rewatched it and blaster time said, and I quote: "with the included ruby darts it has an average of about 122 fps..." In all fairness he does trip over his own words quite a bit there haha.

Surprised it's half the price of a Mk 2 while offering the same capacity and similar performance. While the Mk 2's compactness probably makes it a better sidearm, one handed firing is arguably more useful.

Two big questions. - How does the prime weight compare to a 5kg hammershot? - Do you think it can take an extended barrel (what with the articulation)?

Just bought one the other day, prime has some weight to it, definitely moves off target on reload. As for barrels, a scar barrel does fit in, but it hurts performance notably, about down to stock numbers

Your Outlaw averaged 118.5 FPS on 6 shots. I tested 12 shots with my Outlaw and it was averaging 129.0 FPS. That's a 10.5 FPS difference. Even though I would like to see higher FPS numbers, I'm still relatively pleased with this toy. My two cons are 1. Low FPS [I'd prefer 150 + FPS] 2. The hammer mechanism can cause blisters on your thumb if used extensively and long periods. I recommend using gloves. The pros are: 1. Great ergonomics 2. Very accurate 3. For such a low FPS the darts do travel pretty far. 4. Looks great 5. Easy to handle 6. Affordable My overall review: I give it an 8.5 out of 10..

The design is pretty snazzy, but it's juuuust not quite the style I like - I wish it leaned a little more old-West and a little less sci-fi, but that's just me. I'd also rather it drop out instead of having to pull the whole cylinder out (or at least front-load-able), but I'm just a plinker, pulling the whole cylinder out is definitely more 'pro'-level. I think I might still pick one up and see if it grows on me.

Looks really cool! Definitely on my radar, but I think the Hammer sits a bit too far back on the blaster to be optimally one-handed. You can see in the video where Drac has to break his grip to get his thumb on the hammer. Definitely room for improvement there.
