Bee pollen y'all! They love it and it's good for them. Also try every type of green there is and they bound to like something. Arugula is one my beardies love and baby kale in moderation. And baby sweet peppers. The yellow ones are their favorite.

Yaaaaaayyyy!!!!! You're back. We missed ya, but hope you had a lovely break. Good video. I thought that my.wee Buddy was gonna starve himself to death on the no veggies diet, I'm waiting for the bugs. But now after months of worrying, he's just a wee piggie and eats everything and anything. I think some of them go through a sort of adolescent kid thing where they just play up and get off on worrying you.

Since you have been gone, I have gotten a bearded dragon called Yoshi and we do game streams together and he has Yoshi Cam in his enclosure. I’ve been doing the switch as suggested in your first picky beardie video. I am able to slip them in occasionally but most of the time she gets mad and shakes her head 😂 I’ve tried just about every veggie and fruit and combo I can think of, eventually I’m just going to have to do some tough love and cut back her bugs.

Going to give these tips a go, my bearded at a very young age just didn't show any interest in veggies but I always dusted the bugs and hoped that would be enough for her. Fast forward and she's getting on in years and no where near as energised as she used to be (not a concerning amount, just typical old age slowness) but the problem is she can no long chase down her food and needs a lot of help with handing feeding. So I have thought about giving it a go with veggies again since veggies don't move and thought she'd have an easier time with those. But I have been worried that because I have fed her on only bugs for years that she won't recognise veggies as food anymore. This video's given me hope that if I am persistent enough with all these methods then maybe I can get her to eat them again.

My male beardie, Gizmo likes salad more than bugs and eats salad way more often and he loves car rides and sittingin my hoodie. He's a funny boii. My female, Keelo is totally obsessed with roaches to the point she goes insane and treats our hard kitchen floor as a skating ring to slide around haha. I'd die for my babies 🦎 💚

Glad you are back. My 11yr old dragon is I feel not doing well. Will not eat veggies and fruit. Will eat bugs. But two weeks ago he hadn't pooped and vola I believe that's the name is so tight I can't see if any sperm plugs blocking him up. I felt his stomach and there was a small hard not I was freaking out. I messaged him put him in a nice warm bath. He had a nice bowl movement and I believe he past it constipation. Now we are right back to the same issue. Small round hard knot still won't eat only bugs trying no to give him those . I have put sugar on his greens won't eat. I believe he is vary uncomfortable or in pain. Sometimes he seems in a trance when you go up to his in closer and start talking to him and you have to talk loud. Please Please if you see my post please reply back. I have called vets two hours away to get an appointment with no luck all booked for weeks. I keep giving him baths rubbing his stomach nothing happens. He is chewing different mouth more open no runny nose or eyes. I think maybe some of it could be him trying to brumate but this is I think the third winner I've had him and I never let him sleep through the winter I always make him get up I don't allow that I don't want him dying because he has sour food in the stomach that poisoned him and I miss him so it may be some of that but I that's not the problem. Please HELP PLEASE 🙏

So two week ago today i got my very first bearded dragon. He is so sweet but didn't want to eat he veggies. I tried everything. Nothing worked. Its not like he wasn't eating because he was eating his bugs. One day i noticed that if i took him out and sat veggies next to him and let him eat by himself he would. But just recently he has started to go into shed, i know its normal for them not not eat as much during shed but, he is not eating his greens anymore. Still eating his bugs but not greens. Any suggestions?

Try dubia roaches! My sons herptologist technician recommended them and they’re amazing for lil two month old summer. They come in various sizes abd she ate 20 extra small dubia roaches in one setting the first time we introduced them, per the vet techs recommendation. I think it just may be protein gold. Summer hates worms of any kind as they aren’t active enough I think she’s been traumatized by being bitten once too many times by crickets. I’m not expert but just feel your pain. And, thought I’d at least offer my comment :) Wish you and your beardie well!!!

If he's showing signs of brumation then you actually don't want him eating anything heavy, anything that's gonna take a hot minute to digest. Because as they're brumating, any food left in their tummys is going to start to rot. And you don't want that!! Leafy veggies are what mine will pick from here and there when he decides to make a quick appearance or two while brumating. I still offer a small salad every few days in case he feels like eating.. they know what they need so try not to worry. If you ARE worried about it, make sure to see a vet before brumation starts. And weigh him every few weeks to make sure he's not dropping a ton of weight during brumation. They should not suffer from any substantial weight loss, regardless of the decrease in food intake, because they slow their system down to barely a crawl, therefore hardly using any calories. Sorry I just realized I just about wrote you a damn book! My apologies LOL Good luck with your little dude!

I've tried EVERYTHING I've seen people suggest even bee pollen. One of my beardies will not touch them. I even tried puttin the worms in there. He ate one and subsequently ate a veggie and he walked away from the bowl and didn't even attempt to eat another one🙄 tried not feeding him for days... the dude would rather starve!!!!
