An excellent documentary!!! BUT ONE IMPORTANT FACT IS MISSING After life span of the tree the coconut tree wood is used as a building materials for roofing ( soffit/ridge..etc) in SriLanka also the dried leaves are used too as fence or roof for temporary huts , the veins are used as rakes and garden brooms!!!

Great addition! Coconut trees truly are versatile, with every part being used, even after their life span. The wood, leaves, and veins all play a role in sustainable building and everyday tools in Sri Lanka. Thanks for sharing this important detail!

Thank you. I got lot of new information on coconut from you. I'm from Kerala;kera means coconut that's why the name kerala .In my childhood I used to climb on this tree to pluck tender coconut. It's water is sweet and it gave me energy to play throughout the day to play and enjoy. We have a temple in our palm land and we offer tender coconuts to our deity on special occasions. The wood from coconut tree is also useful. Thank you once again for your beautiful English so that I could grasp fully without any confusion or dout.Expecting more useful video from you.

This video provides a fascinating look at the process of harvesting millions of coconuts for worldwide distribution. From selecting and harvesting the coconuts from trees to the processing and preparation for export, the video highlights the large scale and complexity of the global coconut supply chain. The footage likely showcases the use of modern technology in harvesting and processing, while also illustrating the vital role of labor in this extensive process. It’s a great example of how tradition and technology combine in modern agriculture. How does the harvesting and processing process ensure that the coconuts remain fresh throughout the long journey to consumers worldwide?
