I feel like one of the coolest things about the Lord Huron fan base is that everyone seems to have the same appreciation for not only the beauty of the music ,but the amount of talent of these guys have, the music is cosmic, haunting, happy, sad, and at times something that reminds me of something out of a spaghetti western. Been a fan for years and I’m still amazed every time these guys release music how great it is

Leave me where the light pours down Through the trees like rain Let it wash over me like a flood Let it ease my pain Let it drown me For a while I was held By the myth of the lost highway In the spell of the night And the lights of the great white way I ain′t lonely Are you? Send me to the mountains Let me go free forever (ever) I'll be running through the forest Dancing in the fields like this forever (ever) (Long lost) Leave me where the moonbeams Carve through the leaves like blades Lay me in the tall grown grass in a shallow grave Let it have me I′ve got a place in the world And I found my way Out in the night all alone In the way out there I ain't lonely I'm long lost Say goodbye (long lost) Stay with my mind (long lost) Send me to the mountains Let me go free forever (ever) I′ll be running through the forest Dancing in the fields like this forever (ever) Send me to the mountains Let me go free forever (ever) I′ll be running through the forest Dancing in the fields like this forever (ever) (Long lost) (Long lost) (Long lost)

Leave me where the light pours down through the trees like rain Let it wash over me like a flood, let it ease my pain Let it drown me For a while I was held by the myth of the Lost Highway In the spell of the night and the lights of the Great White Way I ain't lonely, are you? Send me to the mountains, let me go free forever I'll be running through the forest dancing in the fields like this Leave me where the moonbeams carve through the leaves like blades Lay me in the tall-grown grass in a shallow grave Let it have me I've got a place in the world and I found out where Out in the night all alone in the Way Out There I ain't lonely, I'm long lost Say goodbye Long lost Out of my mind Long lost Send me to the mountains, let me go free forever I'll be running through the forest dancing in the fields like this Send me to the mountains, let me go free forever I'll be running through the forest dancing in the fields like this Long lost Long lost Long lost

I dig these guys so much that I almost don't want to know too much about them for fear of anything somehow altering or skewing the place that their music takes me. I wish them all the success in the world, but at the same time I want them to remain mysterious! Does that make sense?

This song means so much to me. It's like weaving through Life in a fog and suddenly a light glow of the Sun breaks through and gives redemption and warmth. For it helps me understand that I'm not lonely, but I'm just not where I have to be to find what I'm looking for in Life and Purpose. Such great lyrical poetry combined with an instrumental ensemble that lifts the Soul. Thank you Lord Huron. I hope you'll continue to help uplift more people out of their darkness and back into the brightness of Life.

I’ll be honest I haven’t listened to LH in years (last song I remember hearing new was Wait By The River) but I apparently still have notifications on for them and damn. This song is just crazy good. The sort of cosmic western sound is something I’ve never really been able to find done so well and this song just nailed it. This is beyond amazing gah damn

I know this comment may not get viewed- but I just want to appreciate the general trajectory of this band. LH- you have continued to make better and better music with each release. Ends of the Earth was just the beginning (ironic in a sense eh?)... many bands that I love have lost their confidence because of a “rollercoaster” trajectory, and I hope you don’t lose yours. You’re all truly continuously onto something and that is uniquely appreciated by your fans and beyond in the short and long term. A special trait and I hope you recognize that as you continue to work!! Cheers, R

@wrentiel , came back for an other listen, saw your reply... When I saw the title, I automatically thought of the long lost highway... ( good ole Jack). Been on it enough, guess it just resonates.lol.. Fixing a 2011( very badly treated Cherokee grey wolf) got it for 2,500.00. A week ago. Have to put more hard sweat into it and money, but hopefully in a couple of months me and the 7 rescue dogs will be back out on the "lost highway" again, not sure where the CREATOR is calling us to this time; but it's for sure some"lost" or " long highway"...and happy trails to you, if you're on that elusive highway too. 🐈🐾🐾🐺 (Enrolled) eastern band Cherokee.
