Yes, my thoughts exactly. Jesus is already Lord and Savior. Whether you believe in Him or not. He changes not. Really, it seems the question is how much do we submit to Him in trust, faith and obedience as our Lord.

You said......"Those that do put their faith in Christ, they will in fact be changed". The apostle Peter proves your statement false! He said the believer who neglects to "add" to their faith could become "barren" or "unfruitful" (verse 8). So to say those who have believed "will in fact be changed" is inaccurate to say the least. There are numerous examples of carnal believers in scripture. You have to ignore all that to believe what you teach in this video. 2 Peter 1 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

@@scriptureplz9045 this lack of fruit could exist because a person’s “cleansing” was merely an external reformation that did not come from a truly changed heart. It could also describe a Christian who has fallen into serious error. This can happen. But it does not say that one can remain in this error! So the point stands entirely. Can you provide any Scripture that says that a professing Christian can remain completely unchanged for their whole life and be truly saved?

I was born again in 2018. I had a powerful conversion experience - Jesus Christ healed me and saved me. But the church I joined afterwards was 5 point arminian, and they taught that salvation must be maintained by good works. I had rightfully repented from known sin, but I began wearing out myself in the struggle against sin because I was relying on myself, and I viewed my failures as a threat to my salvation. So early in 2019 I went, beaten and limping, back into the world and my previous habits, fleeing God's presence. But how could this be, if I were geniunely saved in 2018? I do not know. I do know that the whole time I was back in the world I was miserable and so fearful of God's Wrath. I would not dare to claim all was hunky-dory. God in His great mercy restored me. I am back in church - this time, I am in a reformed, Christ-centered church. I still don't have an explanation as to how it was possible for me to go back into sin after being saved. But I do know that there was no way I was going to continue in it - by the grace of God. The world was not the same as I had remembered - there was no enjoyment. Only a fear of judgment and fire that will devour the adversaries (Heb 10:26). I can say this: if you claim to be a Christian and are living in blatant sin, and you are not at all afraid of God's wrath, you are 100% self-deceived. When you have known God, to live in sin is to live in abject terror and misery.

Adhering to the "Saved by grace alone" or "Just believe" doctrine while throwing all the other verses out the window is a pretty gutsy move. That would tell me that the apostle Paul was going around, preaching a gospel that goes beyond "faith alone". Paul said in Galatians 1:9 that everyone is accursed that preaches another gospel than the one he preached. Taking only Acts 16:30-31 as the entirety of the bible would tell us that no repentance of any kind is needed for salvation. Acts 16:30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” In addition, only the person asking what he needed to do to be saved would need to "believe". This infers that the rest of his household could be complete atheists, yet would be saved. Are we having a contest to water down the Word of God until it has absolutely no effect? If so, the entire population of earth should read ONLY Titus 3:5 and see that Jesus already saved us by His mercy and we don't have to do a single thing. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost If we take this one verse literally, without reading any other in the bible, one could come to the conclusion that: 1) They don't even need to "Believe in Jesus" to be saved, because this verse doesn't say anything about belief. 2) They don't need to hear the Word 3) They don't need to read the Word 3) No relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit is needed. 4) Hell is completely empty because everyone already got saved by His "mercy". 5) Sin as much as you want to, because repentance (to turn away from sin) wasn't specifically mentioned in this verse, either. If this is the case, then ask yourself: Why is there even a judgment of man (Revelation 20:12-15)? Why is there a Gospel? And why is there even a Bible? It's as if we one has come to the point of saying, "Sorry God, but I'm not going to obey Your Gospel because, after all, obeying is a work." If one is going to take the "minimalist" doctrine to the nth degree, then you should end up with something similar to the above. Take this approach and you will eventually find out that God is NOT playing around. He will not be mocked and ignored. In flaming fire, God will take vengeance on those that do not know Him and do not obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9). The Word of God commands us to make our calling and election "sure", not "minimal" (2 Peter 1:10). It also instructs us to study the word to show ourselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15). The best policy is to read the ENTIRE Word of God for yourself to find out what the TRUE DOCTRINE and TRUE GOSPEL really is and then OBEY that gospel. If you are genuinely seeking God on this topic, He will most definitely fill in the blanks on any questions you have. All you have to do is ask Him in sincerity. When the disciples preached the Gospel, what did the hearers of that Gospel actually do? 1) They repented. 2) They got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins. 3) They received the Promise of the Father - The baptism of the Holy Ghost. If a person truly BELIEVES the gospel, they will OBEY the gospel. In addition, once that individual experiences the grip of sin unravelling and being removed from their life and the POWER of the Holy Ghost living inside, they will NOT be ashamed of that gospel, even as Paul declared in Romans 1:16. God provided the plan of salvation for all men, women and children when He was under no obligation to do so. This is the very demonstration of His grace and mercy. Arguing against Lordship salvation is not the issue here. The real problem is that one can argue so hard against works that they take it over the edge and completely IGNORE and therefore REJECT the instructions given from the Gospel, stating that those are works as well. THIS IS DECEPTION OF THE HIGHEST ORDER. Do yourself a HUGE favor. Don't take reckless chances with your salvation. OBEY the TRUE GOSPEL.

For me, L. S. is summarized in Ezekiel 36:25-27 "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances." His indwelt Spirit produces change/results/fruit. You're desires and repentance continuously grows. You grow in loving righteousness and hating sin. You are a new creation. You are reborn. Good works are not the root of our salvation, but it is the fruit of our salvation. But people also forget that it's a GROWTH process. "and like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may GROW in respect to salvation," - 1 Peter 2:2

This passage is about "the House of Israel" in the Millennium after the tribulation. This is *only* concerning the nation of Israel in *that* period of time after Israel has collectively said as a nation "Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord" (Matthew 23:39). Ezekiel 36 has nothing to do with the Church which was not yet born, nor even spoken of until Acts 2! For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Matthew 23:39 The Christian life *is* a "process", but receiving eternal life is isn't! It is a birth which happens at the point of faith. The "birth" is spiritual truth, not physical (John 6:3, 6:63).

I can appreciate your passion for truth and your desire to see believers walk in the freedom of Christ. That being said, I believe your argument relies on a number of straw-men arguments and over generalizations that are extremely confusing, if not dangerous. First, the term "easy believism" is a pejorative label created in order to categorize all those who believe that man is saved by faith alone apart from works of righteousness. The same goes for the term "Lordship Salvation" when used pejoratively by those who disagree with your position. Regardless of what side of the fence one falls on, the moment pejorative terms are employed in an argument, you've come close to disqualifying yourself. Second, your over generalizations and use of straw-man arguments. *Some* individuals just say a prayer, yet not care about their sin, nor be burdened by their sin, nor have a conscious desire to be reconciled to God, but they're by far the minority. Having had a number of conversations with a number of these individuals myself, I can honestly say that you may have landed some theological punches against your own straw-man and won the votes of those in the choir, but you've done nothing to prove most of your theological talking points. Unless you have the opportunity to speak, listen, and hear the hearts of all who you claim to be true believers, it's impossible to tell where they spiritually stand. Where do I stand personally? I too believe that insincere prayer doesn't make one a believer. Those are the exception, not the majority. Like newborn babies, each true believer grows at a their own pace. Some move on into maturity quickly, while some fail to make very little progress at all. Regardless, man is saved by faith alone, apart from works of righteousness, or spiritual maturity.

@@scriptureplz9045 It is not possible to add to our faith, as faith is a gift from God. Ephesians 2: 8-9: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. The word "add" in 2 Peter 1 is an error traced from Geneva, rather the passage is commending us to supply virtue, which is done under the power of the Holy Spirit. We respond to His good works with devotion. There are believers with different levels of spiritual maturity (Romans 14-Strong & weak brother), but that is different from a Christian that hates sin & a carnal Christian (who is not a Christian at all, but an unbeliever, 1 John 3:10). Lordship Salvation, means that we by the anointing of the Holy Spirit recognize Jesus for who He is and give Him the honor that He is due by surrendering to Him in obedience. He has earned it; He is worthy of it. Ultimately, this is how our walk with Christ should begin, by recognizing and confessing sin and that He is Lord. It's not adding works as proof, its a unquenchable desire to love and please Jesus. It's loving Him because He first loved us and gave himself for us. This is how salvation is obtained, by this very recognition We all serve either God or the devil. Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

He said, imagine changing a tire on the freeway and one of the lug nuts rolls into the road and you go and pick it up, but a 40k log truck hits you. Then you go to preach a sermon and tell the church with all seriousness, "sorry I am late, but I got hit by a log truck on the way here." Then church would start looking at you weird and start calling you a liar saying, "no you didnt!" And you argue back, "YES I DID!" Then they say, "NO YOU DIDNT! For if you did, you would not be here alive!" This is a great example to how to explain what Jesus Christ does to each one of us. For when you meet the living Christ and he puts his Spirit in you, there is an obvious radical change in nature.

What should that repentance look like? How do you know if you’ve repented enough? How right do you have to get your life before you can be saved? What does God need you to do to be saved? Throughout the gospels and the Pauline epistles there are a multitude of verses that show salvation is simply by believing on Jesus... Changing your mind from thinking you are a good person to believing what God says about you/what He did for you and asking Him for mercy. I think that is why there is so much attack on Paul's apostleship today. In the Old testament you were "saved" by putting blood on the door posts or by simply looking upon the bronze serpent. In the New testament you similarly are saved by looking to the Son and His shed blood. Salvation is a free gift and is not conditional upon one's performance. We are saved "unto good works" but some will be obedient children and some will be disobedient. If disobedient God will chastise, if obedient God will reward. I personally believe God made salvation easy not difficult. The reality is we All sin every day even after salvation as 1st John also says "if we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us" Finally just to be clear, I believe that God wants His children to live holy lives and not to use His free gift as an excuse to sin but we can make that choice even after salvation.

If I may ask, why does what God wants matter in this scenario? If I have looked to the sacrifice of Christ as payment for my sins, and decide I will just get drunk, sleep around, hate people, etc. - it's all paid for, so why does it matter?

@@sneaksyranger If you are God's child and get drunk and sleep around you leave yourself open to attacks of the devil, God's discipline, destruction of the flesh etc etc.. There will be a price to pay on earth not to mention the dishonour you bring God. It makes logical sense to follow God's ways for your own protection. Nevertheless if you've genuinely trusted Christ for salvation it's a done deal. You can't add to what He paid for. You will lose rewards in heaven and will be ashamed that you let God down but you'll still be there because of His sacrifice. Just to add... You also become a vessel of dishonour not fit for the masters use. The unsaved will look at your life and your testimony will mean nothing to them and they will most likely not have an open ear to the gospel

It sounds like you're preaching modern Pharisaism. Like it or not there are no pre-conditions to coming to Christ and being saved other than you hear the gospel message, consider the gospel message, and believe the gospel message. Simply discounting what scripture actually says because it doesn't fit your dogma, which it seems you've done in this video, does not make it untrue. When I became a believer over 5 decades ago, I heard the gospel for the first time, considered what I was hearing, and came to believe it was true. I prayed and was born again according to scripture. As I began to study the scripture, renewing my mind by the washing of the Word, I began to understand just how sinful sin is and my appreciation of and for God and His saving grace grew. As a result, I wanted to be more like Christ and to do things in a different way. His way. My way of life changed. After years as a street minister and pastor and later years working in industry, I can tell you that most people I saw come to Christ came in the same way. For most, not all, there was no overwhelming sense of guilt, no terrible emotional trauma, but for all there was just a conscious and thoughtful understanding of the validity of the message that God sent His son to save them and if they believe they will be saved and kept saved by God and God alone. Getting saved is meant to be "easy" for the sinner since Jesus did ALL of the hard stuff for us.

@@theodoreritola7641 When it comes to Free grace you rely only on Christ for salvation by simply believing in his finished work on the cross, that he is Christ, that he paid for your sins and rose on the third day. You acknowledge the fact that you sin daily, no matter whether you want it or not in action and thought and you need a savior, because it takes one sin for you to go to Hell(James 2:10; Galatians 3:10, etc.). On the other hand, you have the lordship blasphemation. Now, these guys refuse to accept they are sinners, they low-key say that Jesus is weak and a liar, because the bible says there's not a single one that is sinless(1 John 1:8; Romans 3:10, you got the point) and, if you think about it, they say that basically he either died for nothing, or that his death was not sufficient, which in my opinion is total blasphemy. All in all, they believe that they have to earn their way to Heaven by good works or that you have to cooperate with God to be saved, which implies that salvation is not a gift and is rejecting key verses like the one I mentioned or Ephesians 2:9 and so much more. Now, don't get me wrong we from the free grace by no means teach that you must ignore the law, because even tho there's no way you go to Hell once you believe(1 Corinthians 3:15), you will still get punished here, in this life(Hebrews 12:6-7), besides that, the law profits you(Titus 3:8). Lordship salvation is a false gospel. One needs to only believe in Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for salvation (John 3:18). Lordship salvation mandates a desire to a changed life to be saved, when the bible says believe only. God wants all of us to be changed, but we can willfully resist that desire of God, and still be saved.

Amen. Some of the last words of the resurrected Christ are found in Luke 24:47, “And that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name…” Repentance is not works but a change of heart toward sin. Grace does not give license to continue to live a sinful rebellious lifestyle but liberty to live a godly life. Paul said in Titus 2:11-12, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,”. Lordship Salvation has been around since the Apostle Paul, which Paul addressed in the book of Galatians, hear the Apostle Paul speaking..... ‭Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Galatians‬ ‭3:2‭-‬3‬ ‭ Paul is calling out the heresy that was popular back then and is still popular in churches everywhere today. It is a serious error that false teachers everywhere espouse and it is largely accepted uncritically. I'm sure you've heard this before.... ....We are justified by faith alone, but not by a faith that is alone.... Let's unpack this profound theological statement and find the damning heresy imbedded in it. I will refer to Galatians 2:2-3 in parentheses, translating the statement above according the inspired Word of God.... ‭"We are justified by faith alone (recieved the Spirit by hearing with faith), but not by a faith that is alone ("Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?".) Paul is basically saying that the Galatians who became Christians by faith in Jesus Christ, fell into the serious error that they must finish their salvation by works. This damning heresy is still around today, popularized by the notion that there must be works in the life of a professing Christian, they must persevere, they must be obedient, they must submit to the Lordship of Christ, they must do more and try harder, and if these works are not present in the life of a professing Christian then they are not really a Christian. This is no small matter. We are either justified by faith or justified by works, and the two can not be mixed. Its all or nothing. The Apostle Paul himself declared those who preach another gospel other than what he recieve to be accursed, damned.... I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6‭-‬9

The tax collector vs the pharisee clearly shows this. By outward appearance the pharisee looked like the justified one, but we see it was the tax collector humbly admitting he was a sinner, was the one justified. What poeple do not understand is that it an insult to God to equate anything of our flesh with justification, because bible says flesh and blood do not go to heaven. G’day Caleb, another great exposition mate. I don’t understand how you could possibly be saved and have the Holy Spirit within and not come to hate the fact that you are a sinner. I freely admit that that is what I am, and I truly hate the fact that, that is what I am. Obviously I don’t sin as often as I did before I was saved and I try very hard not to sin but a sinner none the less is what I am. If you were to remove The Holy Spirit and my God given faith in Jesus’s completed work from me, then In my opinion I would be absolutely and completely worthless, of no value whatsoever. The only value that I ascribe to myself is The Fathers gift of the scriptures, the skill set that he has graciously given me, the Lord Jesus’s immeasurably valuable spilt blood and the Holy spirits residence within me. Those are priceless to me, and I am very grateful for them. If you call yourself a Christian, but neither hate the sin you commit and aren’t at least trying to stop sinning, then I don’t think that you’re saved at all and you would be deceiving yourself. Specifically, we can look at Mark 6:6-13 where Jesus sent the disciples out preaching they should repent. Repent of what? Their sins. Lordship Salvation is a phrase created to show biblically and scripturally that salvation is solely by faith (the Holy Spirit draws each person), by Grace alone in Jesus Christ alone - it is not of any works. Godly sorrow leads to repentance of the heart that the believer in Christ would seek His righteousness and thereby walk in faith denying self (the flesh) and taking up his cross daily to follow Jesus Christ. The fruit of repentance, the fruit of faith is worked out and produced in believers by the Holy Spirit as we walk after His commands and walk in faith.

It's obedience based. Jesus came to call a fallen sinfulled man to repentance. If we truly trust in Christ, then we will obey, and that starts with repenting of sin, which can only happen with Faith. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Repent of sin and believe. Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, (believe) THAT YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT, when the times of refreshing shall come from the Paul repeats this Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith (believe) toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should REPENT and turn to God (believe), and do works meet for repentance. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder (of eternal life) of them that diligently seek him. Show evidence of faith that you trust in Christ by acknowledging and changing your mind about your sinfulled life, a decision to turn away from sin and live for and serve Jesus. James echos Jesus and Paul James 2:17,26 Even so faith, if it hath not works, (evidence)is dead being alone. 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead. (Meaningless) Not works for salvation but evidence,by a changed life. (2 Corinthians 5:15,17)

@@chrisanok9283 I do not think you have read the passage thoroughly. It is quite obvious that Jesus is only addressing true Christians: [1] They are ALL branches who are attached to the Vine (Jesus) receiving the life-giving sap. “I am the Vine, you are the branches” (v.5) Jesus is speaking to His disciples and all those “in Him” down through the ages. He is not speaking to false converts. [2] They are ALL "in Christ" (v.2) so they had to be saved. You cannot be "in Christ" and be a false Christian. [3] They were ALL (the 11) “clean” (v.3) or saved - Judas had already left. There are no false Christians in these verses. [4] They ALL possessed the Holy Spirit (see John 14:17, 26). Only those who are saved possess the Holy Spirit - not false Christians. [5] They are ALL “chosen” (v.16). If they were not saved - why did Jesus call them “chosen”? They were chosen to bear fruit. False converts are not chosen. [6] They were ALL capable of producing fruit (v.2) or Jesus would not have COMMANDED them to do so. The Vine sends its nutrients into the branch to produce fruit. Some of the branches (in the Vine = Jesus) produced fruit by continuing to “abide in the Vine.” These were pruned in order to produce more fruit. However, the fruitless branches (in the Vine) were those who refused to continue abiding “in Christ” and so failed to produce fruit (or stopped producing fruit). These “branches” were “cut off” from the Vine (Jesus) so they had to have been IN IT to start with, and thrown into the fire of hell (v.6). There are no false converts here - because false converts would not have been “IN the Vine” and so could not have been “cut off” FROM the Vine. [7] They were ALL commanded to abide in the Vine. Jesus would not have commanded false Christians to “abide in Me” - because they would not have been IN HIM in the first place. All true Christians need to continue to abide in Christ - or they will be “cut off” from the Vine (Jesus). You cannot CONTINUE in something or REMAIN in it - if you were never IN it in the first place. This teaching is also found in Romans 11:17-22. This is a very sombre warning - that I hope you will take heed of my friend.

@SIOUXSIE7777 but of they were truly in Jesus, then they will remain in him and the will bear fruit. Yes, Jesus was speaking to His disciples. But this is for the reader to understand his duty as a Christian. Paul says we're sealed to the day of redemption with the Holy spirit.

Ok. When Jesus saved me December 23,1973 at the age of 18. I had prayed and asked Jesus to come into my life a few times. But never had any conviction of sin until that afternoon. In fact I was so sick of my sin that I wanted no more to do with hurting God. It was then that I believed Jesus would save me, come into my life and change me. If I asked him to come into my life. He did just that like he said. He is still convicting me of sin and dealing with me and I'm 67 now. Can I say this? He has not proven he loves me by giving me much in the way of financial and material wealth and possessions. But. He has repeatedly opened up his Word to me. Especially here lately. Which gives me great joy. Knowing I have that which will endure and no one will take from me. But I can give to others.

You probably have heard of Ray Comfort. He holds to lordship salvation tightly. I have heard him in video say that if you don’t repent when saying the prayer of salvation the person is going to Hell. That is false doctrine. The Book of John talks about believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Ray Comfort’s other Gospel is conditional = Jesus + another action. John 3:16 is pretty straightforward. No one should add to it.

The knowledge of sin comes from the law. To maintain that you have to keep the law that condemned you and flipping it around to say that keeping it now saves and keeps you saved is mixing freedom from the law with bondage to the law. You need to be saved because you failed to obey the law. You still sin because sin is dwelling in your flesh and to break one commandment even if you are not lusting as much is breaking the law. Christ died and rose again and the law which was blotted out blotted out all sin past present and future. While there is one gospel, that is that Jesus Christ came to give his life a ransom for the redemption of man there was/is a different means of doing so. The sin issue is dealt with the cross but Matt.20 [28] Even as the Son of man came to give his life a ransom for many. NOT ALL and the sin is blotted out in the future according to what Peter knew after spending 3 1/2 years with Christ. Peter preaches- Acts.3 [19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; WHEN? When the King comes and is presence is here and He is seated on the throne of David. It is a promise and prophecy of God's covenant to Israel. BLOTTED OUT NOW because sin is the transgression of the Law of Moses. Col. 2 [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; THE CONTEXT IS [12] Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. [13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; THE LAW = DEATH, IT WAS WRITTEN ON STONES 2Cor.3 [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 1Tim.2 [6] Christ gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Romans 11 [25] For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27] For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. WHEN? When the Deliverer or Redeemer comes to Mt Zion or Sion. WHY DID ISRAEL FALL AND THE RANSOM OF MANY CHANGE TO RANSOM OF ALL? Rom.11 [11] I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. [12] Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? GRACE IS HUGE BECAUSE IT IS A MATTER OF SALVATION Gal. 5 [4] Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Verse 3 is simular to what James said -Jas.2 [10] For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. Gal. 3 [4] Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. The knowledge of sin comes from the law. To maintain that you have to keep the law that condemned you and flipping it around to say that keeping it now saves and keeps you saved is mixing freedom from the law with bondage to the law 2Tim.2 [15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. We are saved by believing in the shed blood for forgiveness of sin, Jesus dying, burial and resurrection. A free gift. We don't go around sinning because we can, we get saved and grow in knowledge of scripture. We find we are not our own we were bought with a price. If you put the cart in front of the horse you are fallen from grace according to Gal. 5 [4] Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Paul is very clear that a sinner must belive that Jesus Christ is LORD, BEFORE they are saved! " 9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him. 13 For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans chapter 10) "29 Then asking for a light he rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And leading them outside, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, and your household. 32 And they spoke the Word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his household" (Acts chapter 16) You CANNOT have Jesus Christ THE SAviour, without Jesus Christ THE LORD!

No. Dont put your self in a place to where you are the one who cause's the temptation. No one makes us sin. No one. not even the devil can make you sin. If any Christian sins its because they want to sin. Its like someone who wants to take their life. Its up to them if they do it. Satan tells people you are no good you might as well take your life nobody cares about you anyway. In your mind it may make sense to you but you dont have to take your life satan cant make you no matter how bad you feel about your self. Its up to you if you do it. If satan can make you do it then satan owns you he tells you what to do. The bible says you are the servant to who you obey. its like people who slander and gossip. they think just because they are Christians they can go about slandering other people who has failed God. It doesnt matter if what someone does is the truth its still slander and that is a sin. Got it.

Amen, which entirely contradicts easy believism because the verse says to confess to God and He will forgive you while easy believism teaches just believe in Jesus and that anything other than that is works based salvation. This theology is flawed and a lot of holes can be poked through it. Ephesians 5:3-6 calls people who are sexually immoral, unclean, and idolaters children of disobedience and verse 7-8 says to not be partakers with them because you (the Ephesians) were sometimes DARKNESS, now are light in the Lord and says to walk as children of light. Matthew 3:8 says to bear fruits in keeping with repentance, and Romans 12:2 says “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” You have no excuse to sin, real Christians don’t boldly sin in front of God’s face and not even care they are grieving Him, knowing that He died a brutal death for them. That’s evil, don’t harden your heart and turn back

I say that Lordship salvation is 100% biblical because it is the Holy Spirit that convicts a person of sin and can lead a person to repentance ( 2 Corinthians 7:10). I am in the godly sorrow not the sinner’s prayer because it is very misleading and unscriptural, nowhere in the Bible talks about that prayer. The Gospel is this, we are sinners deserving the wrath of God and that the only way to have that wrath removed is to repent of our sins and put our faith in Christ.

When Paul was given sole revelation about the "gospel of the grace of God," he finally tells us: NO ONE seeks after God. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ, and nothing of this salvation is of our own efforts or intentions or promises or commitments. All have sinned. We couldn't keep the law. It was a tutor to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world. God through Christ has justified us, glorified us, and seated us with Christ in the heavenlies. And what about Israel? Hebrews quotes Jeremiah: A time will come when he will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and Judah. "I will write my laws in their hearts." God has shut up all men under sin, that he might have mercy on them all. No one is saved today except by simple faith that: Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead. This is Paul's gospel, and the only gospel we must preach today.

It is troubling when one ignores other verses on any subject that speak contrary to one's doctrine or beliefs. One's fruit will show Godly repentance and the stain of sin will still show that we who are saved still sin. One of the consequences of sin is not having assurance of salvation and that is a huge part of the problem with cheap grace and easy believism in my opinion. .I have always contended that if one has never questioned their own salvation (that we are to work out ourselves lest we fall short) then it seems they do not take repentance and sin against God seriously or simply think as a man does and not as God has commanded. .Oh, and I fully believe Lordship salvation. .

Todays gospel message has been so watered down that it instructs us to only "believe" and then we are "good to go". But there is no POWER in this and it is NOT the gospel that the disciples of Christ obeyed in the book of Acts. "Believing" is the gateway to "Obeying" the TRUE GOSPEL. However, believing in and of itself is not a complete response to the entire GOSPEL. Jesus said "BELIEVE", yes that is true. But Jesus further expounds "BELIEVE AS THE SCRIPTURES CONTINUE TO SAY" (John 7:38) Jesus instructed His disciples to baptize. He didn't speak this directive just to give them "busy" work. In the scriptures below, we see example after example after example of what the listeners DID after HEARING the True Gospel. There is a pattern here. Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Why mention baptism in the scripture if baptism is irrelevant? Because it is relevant. Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Again, The disciples of Jesus Christ baptized. Joh 4:1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, Joh 4:2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) Peter is preaching the Gospel. He doesn't say, "for the few of you that feel the need to get baptized, go for it!" No, he says, "Be baptized every one of you..." Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Those that gladly received the Gospel that Peter preached got baptized. Those who rejected the Gospel he preached, didn't. Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: Philip is preaching the same Gospel. As a result, the people believed and as a result of that belief, they got baptized. Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Simon heard the Gospel. He believed and as a result, he got baptized. Acts 8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. Philip preached the Gospel to a eunuch. As a result, the eunuch does not say, "I believe in Jesus" and then go on his way. Instead, he wants to get baptized as soon as possible. Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. Peter preaches the Gospel. As the people heard, the Holy Ghost descended and filled them. Afterwards, Peter instructs them to get baptized in the Name of The Lord and is alluding that no man should get in the way of that process. He did not say, "It's optional" (Acts 10:37-48) Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Paul and Silas preach to the keeper of the prison. Paul says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." but he does not stop there. He preached the word of the Lord and as a result, the keeper of the prison and his household were baptized. Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Another instance where people heard the Gospel. They believed and as a result, those who believed were baptized. Act 18:8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. In Acts 19:1-9, Paul is asking a "believer" if they have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost since they believed. They haven't heard about the Holy Ghost. So what does Paul start asking about? He asked how they were baptized. They had been baptized according to John's baptism of repentance. After Paul explained the gospel more clearly (since Jesus had since risen), they got Re-baptized. But this time, it was in the Name of The Lord. Because they repented and got baptized in the name of the Lord, God was obligated to baptize them in the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38), because it is His Promise (Acts 2:39) If you read further in Acts 19:8-9, you will see that certain people BELIEVED NOT and started speaking evil of the gospel that Paul preached. 19 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 7 And all the men were about twelve. 8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. 9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. The response to the TRUE GOSPEL includes: 1) Repentance (acknowledging and turning away from sin) and 2) Baptism in the Name of Jesus and as a result, that individual shall 3) Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Jesus tells what happens when we "BELIEVE AS THE SCRIPTURES CONTINUE TO SAY" John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given ; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) Which Gospel of Jesus Christ will you believe? The one that the early disciples of Jesus Christ preached as documented in the Bible? Or the modified/simplified/modernized version that would be considered "Another gospel" by Paul. Paul says the person that preaches "Another gospel" is accursed. Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. Do yourself a HUGE favor. Don't take reckless chances with your salvation. OBEY the TRUE GOSPEL. Acts 2:38 clearly tells us that if we will 1) repent of our sin and 2) get water baptized in the name of Jesus, 3) then God is OBLIGATED to baptize us with the Holy Spirit. Why? Because Acts 2:39 goes on to say that this promise is for every single one of us! So, the question is simple: Have we done steps 1 and 2 so that God can perform step 3 in our lives?

You have zero proof of this. Show me where a gentile ever baptized anyone. Gentiles were never given authority to baptize or commanded to baptize. Baptism was a Jewish ritual

In all humility brother…your pejorative label “easy believism” totally misses the actual view. And also is not gracious. First, believing is NOT easy! It’s simple but not easy. There’s a difference. Second, Free Grace is the theological camp that you are attempting to discredit. No one that I have ever known or read who holds that view (myself included) would describe their view in such a way. It’s easy to create a straw man that doesn’t exist and knock him down. I appreciate your intended interest and clarification on the subject. However, I would suggest a better well rounded reading on the view before creating your next video.

Lordship salvation is a false doctrine, as someone said why call Jesus lord when Jesus makes its clear regardless of what you think or say Jesus is lord, our saviour, our redeemer etc, Roman's has the most clear explanation of the Gospel, if Jesus expected us to be perfect and follow every commandment as soon as we're saved then why did Jesus come to save us in the first place?, Jesus says also you must abide in me to bear much fruit, the question is how does one bear much fruit, be obedient and follow Jesus when you don't have the holy spirit?

@@iThinkBiblically does submission to Jesus and repentance come after believing in Jesus or before? If before when you don't have the holy spirit in you then how does one get saved that's the real question, I believe it is God who produces repentance and salvation not ourselves, something to possibly to make a video on.

@KTTGHMTJWYCBLAC or we simply follow ehat the bible says and it call it salvation instead of all these weird terms that people make up based on taking scripture how they would like and I'm well aware of both LS and EB.
