There are so many places to see in San Diego county that it takes years! Julian in the mountains, an old mining town, Wild Animal Park, so much diversity and history.

Thank you for making this. I used to visit my parents in San Diego during Christmas. The Hotel Del at Christmastime is magnificent! You replayed great memories of the zoo for me. It looks the same as the last time I was there in 2008. The areas north of Spokane, Washington are absolutely stunning! If you ever make your way up to Pend Oreille County, stop in and say "hey". 👽✌️

$15 dollars for a beer. That's what's so wrong with America. Pure greed. I like that you review the hotels you stay at to give people an idea what they're like if they visit the towns you go to, but you should also tell what they cost because that's pretty important to people.

Yes, San Diego is actually one of the most prettiest cities in the country. For being such a large city it actually is pretty clean.

@dlitvin23 : What, no El Cajon? I used to live in Rancho San Diego in La Mesa in the 70's - 80's. I worked in downtown San Diego and later La Jolla. Kids were young and have never forgiven us moving away. Miss it.

I am from the San Gabriel Valley, east of downtown L.A. It's funny, your perception of San Diego is 'crowded and congested.' People around here visit San Diego because it is laid back and has relatively less crowds and congestion!

Excellent video guys. Just loved the zoo part of the video. Dang the price is crazy to get into the zoo. Where you able to see the whole zoo in one day. I’m thinking of visiting Cali in the new year and would love to see the zoo and the aircraft carrier. Just want to let you know how much your videos mean to me, the last two years not traveling has been the shits, so your videos are giving me that sense of travel. Keep up the amazing job you’ve been doing.

I moved to San Diego 11 years ago after 40 years in NYC (native Texan not New Yorker). SD is expensive; however, on a recent vacation to several locations eastward it's not that much more expensive. Has gotten worse everywhere over the past couple years. Anyway, zoo was/is fantastic. Fortunate for me I had a complementary pass and was spared paying the entrance fee. Hope to return. Hadn't realized the zoo was as highly acclaimed as you pointed out.

If Joe thinks a tire in the desert is odd, I once found a fish on the road going around Empire Polo Field during Coachella, 2008. A fish in the desert, hmm…😂

Again, just a guess. It's too small to be an aircraft and the "rotors" are round (like tubing). My reasoning is that they are just a sensor package. Garmin sells smaller noncommercial versions for boats and stuff.

$62 a piece for the zoo???? That’s insane. Our zoo here in DC is free and is quite nice. We had pandas until last month when China took them away. Should have skipped the expensive zoo and visited Old Town San Diego. Free to walk around there.
