What a great body of work you guys have compiled you should be very proud of your work. I appreciate each and every one especially my favorites the extremely rural small towns even the dying ones. I’m so glad you stuck with it from its humble beings till it took off enough to allow y’all to continue. You have taken me to places I probably would never have gotten to see and I thank you. You have shown places in their true light not just the tourist traps but the real place with all its good and bad. Loved the info and especially the stats. An absolute great job. Safe travels my friend keep videoing and I’ll keep watching

WoW, the devastated towns from Florida to N. Carolina are just awful. Many of these areas you took us with you two and we saw how much of it was so beautiful. If you have the will it would be a great service if you revisit a few of these and maybe talked with a few locals on the real story about any help they might be getting. The news networks are not doing this story and we need real people talking with compassion like you have to offer. Thanks for your 3 years of hard work. I understand if you are compleatly spent from what you have accomplished.

Thanks so much for doing these videos and for venturing through my state! If you wander back through, you should do a tour of the towns along the Lakeshore (Lake Michigan, of course) - we call it "The Region", and I'd love to see you do one of your informative and interesting videos on this area! Anyway, you guys killed it, with your National Tour and I hope to see it continue! :)

It is absolutely fascinating to see all the various state capitol buildings and state houses! This part of your fabulous series showcases my part of the country, the Midwest! I agree: the Wisconsin State Capitol building has an amazing rotunda, and I am glad you were able to get to near the top. (I thought I saw a part 7 that was up earlier and now I cannot find it. I was thinking about what is going on in western NC these days and wondered if you had any footage of the Asheville area from within the last couple of years.) Take care and keep on doing what you are doing, Joe and Nic. You are an amazing narrator and observer. Your videos are at the top of my list every week.

While a niece lived in Indianapolis for college and a number of years thereafter, my younger son was earning an MBA at University of Illinois. He then worked for State Farm in Bloomington, IL and Nationwide in Columbus. The cousins did a lot of things together, but both have returned to Colorado. I was able to visit a number of times from 2011 through 2015. I did not go into Ohio’s Capitol building. Your view of the rotunda surprised me because from the outside, it appears there is no rotunda. A fun memory from Columbus occurred while we dined at a restaurant overlooking one of the rivers running through town. We had the pleasure of observing two adult beavers swimming in the river and a baby beaver tagging along behind. Before that day, I had never seen beavers in the wild, much less a baby.

I have loved all these 50 states in review and I know it had to take a long time to edit all this footage together. So, I am very gobsmacked, that these sets of videos have very low view numbers! I was thinking that each video would garner more than 200k views for EACH video! Yet non have even gotten to 100k and most not even 50k. I really don’t understand why…. Such a shame in my humble opinion!!!

Thank you for this. Yes, I worked on these for weeks, going through hundreds of hours in hundreds of videos. I did expect them to do better. What I have learned is that it's pretty much impossible to predict what will do well on KZbin. That said, these may find an audience later. :)

@@JoeandNicsRoadTrip you guys have plans for what’s next now that you have been to all 50 states and their capitals? Are you guys going to keep doing small towns and cities in the various states or do you have something completely different in mind?

@@LJones69 Will still be doing small town tours. In fact, I've already video'd three - Louisiana, Mississippi and a small, near ghost town in Eastern Kentucky that was once thriving and one of the top coal producers in the world. That said, we're going to take a look at some US territories and begin doing some international visits. Canada next spring, for sure, and we may try to get to Australia before winter is over.

The missus takes good care of herself and looks terrific. My favorite part of the videos are looking at the old 2 story brick buildings in the town centers, usually empty. I want to remodel one and live upstairs and just have a simple store and a simple life downstairs and drink lemonade on the porch, maybe do some light manufacture and sell stuff online. A romantic notion, I'm sure. There are a million homeless in this country and at least a million empty or abandoned homes. Why is that? I think at a certain point the mega corps will become too big to succeed and things will return to their mom and pop roots. Maybe another romantic notion.
