I like to think that seasons 6 and 7 don't exist... I pretty much gave up on the show when they brought in April (cute character, good actress, 10000 million wats to better introduce her into the show if they really had to have her)... The revival was what it was, good acting, but it has been almost 10 years since the finale, the world simply moved on...

If only they had done the April thing withoutsplitting up Luke and Lorelei for that dumb Christopher detour, they would have had enough drama with Luke trying to be a good father, and it wouldn't have seemed so forced if she wasn't used as a wedge between them.

Everyone one is complaining about why certain characters are not at the wedding. I find it refreshing that Luke and Lorelai had their special moment with a few people. Its their day nit every one else. Let them be

Agreed but how can you not have Sookie there? It just doesn’t make sense given the fact that she was the first person to support the couple and also how close her and Lorelai were throughout the original series. It’s just another writing mistake along either with dozens of others in that revival.

Possibly, but Jess was already there in person and in a recent scene. I think this was also them trying to figure out table seating, so when Lorelai mentions that Luke's only got like 2 people on the list then it's surprising that April isn't on it.But you could be right, Jess and April could be in the wedding party and that's why. I just don't feel like that was what happened.

Totally superficial but i didn't like Lorelai's hair in the revival. It used to look good in the original series either straight or curly, even season 4 when it got a little out of control. I used to envy her hair because LG and I have similar curl texture.

Even though the years passed by & they were together, during this revival they never seemed in love & its kinda sad how Luke said to Lorelai at the dinner: Well nobody gets everything they want in life but I did pretty good. Like he just settled in a bad way ☹️
