Gilmore Girls was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) and Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore). The show debuted on October 5, 2000 and ran for seven seasons!

Which episode is the sacred counter in??? I cannot find it, and I love it so much!!! Especially when Lorili gets behind the counter, and we see that he really likes her because only she is allowed back there with him. That made me smile so much when it was a moment of their story really beginning.

​​@joli7948No originally there was no planned relationship with Lorelai. In fact the diner owner was only supposed to be an occasionally recurring character. It was after they saw the on screen chemistry between Scott and Lauren that the possibility of Luke and Lorelai became a thing and Luke became a major character.

I'll be honest and admit I wasn't a big fan of Luke in the very beginning. I also didn't like the idea of him and Lorelai together. As the show progressed however I greatly changed my opinion about both.
