This fight was definitely unusual so much loss of balance from both fighters, as well as turning their backs to each other. Some judo take downs too. Cardio is number 1 in muay thai. Respect for getting in there.

Difficult, tough combat. My respect to both warriors.

Was that throw legal at 5:30?

Styles make fights. I think the N class look of the bout is due to very similar styles. I'm sure both fighters facing other opponents 'look' more competent. But they are also...pretty big lads. Its hard graft at the best of times this sport never mind being so big. They are warriors regardless. 🙏🏻

poor endurance.

does it make sense to play a match for the muay thai title where there is no muay thai style in the movements, no clinch, no sweep, no elbow if not "thrown" in the last round? They seem more like kick boxing fighters improvising Nak Muay ...

In fact they're both k1 fighters, especially Lorenzo, this one was his only 2nd muay thai fight

Red quit at the last moment? He was winning until that last round!

I didn't understand why did the ref call the fight?
@Namekk842 жыл бұрын
Lorenzo spitted the mouthguard in order to say to the ref he was bleeding. However as I understood, for the WBC rules you cannot do that. By spitting the mouthguard for them, it translates to giving up. Silly rules

I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure I know enough...wtf did the ref do? I saw absolutely no reason to stop this. 😲 Up until that last round green/yellow shorts was spending half his time on the canvas, and then they were BOTH clearly exhausted (cardio is king!! 🤴) Two very tough gentlemen, no doubt. But there was virtually no Thai boxing going on here...and some awful 12-6 elbows which APPEARED to be illegal strikes. Also, were feints banned in this bout or something? Circling too? And checks. 🤷♂️😬 ...easier said than done, I know. But these are pros right?! 🤔

There are few kicks, reason why you see few checks; about faints i did not need them bro; my % of Miss shots is very low
@paulpelle30462 жыл бұрын
@@MrLPanaro hehe, hiya man. No disrespect, you’re obviously a very tough fighter. 💪 I was talking about feinting generally. I didn’t see any feints at all. From either of you. I know it’s very different when you’re in the ring though. It’s hard to fight as relaxed as when you spar. 🤷♂️ And sorry, but I think that was a very bad stoppage by the ref. The fight should have continued to the end. You were both just very gassed...and kinda falling on eachother. Still, congratulations dude. 🙏 PS. I’m also Italian...well, that’s my background anyway. I’m 25%, and have a really long family name...13 letters, and quite similar to ‘Pellegrino’ 🙂

@@paulpelle3046 Yes man, i know you are not desprecting me; you say good things; i know i have not a good muay thai form. I look like more like a kickboxer/karateka. About faints i can say that working a lot on explosiveness and timing sometimes it could be counterproductive. I agree about stoppage Ah Pellegrino, like aranciata San Pellegrino (aranciata = orange juice) I agree about stoppage, very bad
@paulpelle30462 жыл бұрын
@@MrLPanaro brother, my respect levels just got even higher for you. Very cool that you didn’t agree with stoppage. But of course you took it!! 😄✊ Anyway, it was still a very entertaining fight. Two big warriors going at it. 💪 I just feel that good feints can open up so many attacking opportunities, and can be low-risk with high reward. Yeah, I can definitely see a more kickboxing style, and the karateka too. I was a karateka before starting Muay Thai in 2019. A good Samart-style sidekick can change a fight! Yup, my surname is quite similar to ‘Pellegrino’ (but longer), but I don’t use it online, because I’m the ONLY man in the whole U.K with my name, and I’m a private kinda guy 🤷♂️🙂 Thanks for the messages champ, I really appreciate it. Keep fighting hard! 🇮🇹 🥊 💥

@Awoke Awoke eh? Do you mean they’ve done too much strength and conditioning? 🤔 No. I doubt that. Just two big guys...who’ve probably cut down from 95kg+ already, and maybe didn’t do enough roadwork. 🧐 Fighting in the ring is EXTREMELY hard bro. I’m 72kg and was pretty gassed in round 3 of my last fight. I AM old AF though! 😆🙏
