Atris is the opposite of the other Jedi masters. While the others were doomed by their passiveness, Atris was doomed by her actions.

Atris had always been a very interesting character to me, I would have enjoyed seeing more content involving her.

I know right? I started appreciating her more as a character when I started digging through her voice lines. I think people often neglect the quality of the character simply cause they might dislike her. (although the fact that she sparks such passion in people says a lot about the character's impact!)

@@Noxxarian Exactly! Honestly, I think we should have a "Tales from the Triad" that would share short stories of Nihilus, Sion, Visas, Atris, and so many characters here as I think every character from this game deserves more attention.

I am on Meetra.s side. Somehow I can relate more with her. But I am prepared to listen Atris s side too, she sounds somehow arrogant, looking down on Surik.I don't like the attitude.

I wish we could have seen Surik combat the hand maidens, but I get why you didn't.

How do you get this extra dialogue with the handmaidens? The one about following Revan to war? I can’t find it.

I think it must be. I have Kotor 2 on console and I carefully examined everything kind of dialogue with the handmaidens and didn’t find that part. A shame but this is still the best Star Wars game I have ever played. Great videos you’re doing. Keep up the good work. I’ll be waiting patiently;)

I have no problems in killing the other masters. It's necessary evil (except for Z'ess Ka El, I do lamment fighting him at the academy). But lately, I've been having doubts about Atris. I have no problems in sparing her handmaindens. But Atris, while she might too understand the current order gotta go, is doing it wrong. Would it be biased of me to execute her ? But all her reformations are pretty inhumane. What should I do ?

(SPOILER for anyone who doesn't know the full KOTOR 2 story) I think it depends on the reasoning, as both options have their positives and negatives. She does "turn away" from the dark side, but the argument against her can be the one Kreia used on Vaklu, where she said "he is too dangerous to keep alive." So it's not even a matter of does she deserve to live or not. She possesses great knowledge, and is still a dangerous individual. Perhaps she should be spared under more controlled conditions, given a place to atone for what she did, and serve as a lesson. In either case, I personally do not believe in sparing her in the sense that she just gets to go wherever she wants. She committed indirect genocide basically. You can't just walk away from that. (Although, with that said, I do think Atris's spirit was "broken" by Surik in that final confrontation. Her beliefs collapsed and she faced herself. So I do think she was redeemed, but I, personally, still wouldn't let her just roam free.) In short, either choice is fine :D as long as you're content with it, in my opinion.

​@@Noxxarianwell, I do let her handmaindens live and be humbled. If they remain together, perhaps letting her live will count for something. She'll finally be truly supervised.
