Hard to believe country music can exist without Loretta Lynn. She was absolutely one of the top 5 country stars of alltime. So sad we've lost almost all the great country women singers now - Loretta, Tammy, Kitty, Lynn Anderson, Dottie, Skeeter, Patsy, Jean Shepard. Only three or four still with us who could be considered their rivals although who can compare to Loretta for impact.

Condolences; I'm saddened by the loss of one fine woman! Great Lady! She reminds me so very much of my deceased Mother. Physically she & my Mom could have been sisters, hauntingly. Their hair styles every era, same. That southern charm & drawal...haha! I can recall...Mom & I, 3 siblings in the backseat, 1964 Falcon driving to & from New Mexico, home from Denver. A Ms. Loretta song come on the radio. I'd look at Mom, tears silently, streaming down her face, she loved Loretta & her Music. Such sorrow, much love & prayer...🙏❣

One day one of her daughters was doing a tour. They asked her if Loretta was there? She said her bus isn’t out there is it? Lol she said if the bus isn’t here then it means she’s not here. She told but she can turn up at anytime. Lol it was cute. Loretta told the story so many times about the ghosts in her house. She even knew which ones were around at different times. She knew all the history of the people who lived in the house. She was so good at it. She said, as long as they don’t push me down the stairs then they can stay. She told the kids oh they won’t hurt you. They just love this old house so they don’t want to go.
