I keep mentioning this in other reactors' videos too - 16:53 in this video , when the vocalist sings "Bursting into flames" you can hear a little bit of a clean-ish sing-scream thing on the word "flames". I don't think I've heard cleans from this band before, the way other bands from this genre do - like the cleans of Shadow Of Intent or other such examples

This shit is honestly unreal. I'm from the "old school" side of extreme metal, I haven't paid much attention to anything with a -core suffix. I'll give credit to bands like BTBAM and Slaughter To Prevail, but it's not something that grabs my attention overall. But this? Lorna Shore are genre-bending and innovating. I've listened to music "like this" for almost 30 years now and this has been a complete kick in the ass. The entire band is obviously very talented, but Will Ramos is on a whole other level from anyone doing this right now. The entire package is just unreal. And yeah, To The Hellfire is the star of the show, but this song is spectacular and so is Of The Abyss. These guys are going to conquer new worlds.
@youtubesbichasspolicys58883 жыл бұрын
Slaughter to prevail isn’t innovating that much other than a more core focused drive and some nu metal style with Russian culture. These guys and make them suffer have had the blackened undertones since 2010, arguably the ones who made it more common. Brand of sacrifice and mental cruelty are also doing major things for the genre.
