This is just an honest personal answer to your question. As a metal head from childhood and person who today listens all types of music, I didn´t like deathcore before hearing "Whitechapel - Possibilities of an Impossible Existence". It´s really hard to put it in words but deathcore sounded like a angry children being annoying and whiny (This is just a personal feeling I get from it). When Lorna Shore´s Immortal album came out I was floored how tight the singer fit the band and made it a great band. But that fun didn´t last long. At least I have Fit For An Autopsy.

Fact is CJ was getting all the attention and girls and the cowards in lorna shore was looking for an excuse to kick him out. Dont know CJ personally but the few times I have met him when he was with Signs Of The Swarm and lorna shore he was always cool and actually interacted with his fans. He didnt act stuck up at all and even signed a bunch of shit without complaining or trying to get something in return.
