I definetly liked Part I more. It had a more ballad/emotional rollercoaster vibe to me. I have listened to that song like 10 times so far. I'll Disappear is too heavy. I mean the whole song is screaming.

Here are my thoughts (and we’ll have to see the album to see if I’m right or wrong). Part I was the sorrow and pain of loss, losing someone close. Very melodic and emotional. It had 🌧️ . (That’s important.) Part II was dealing with that loss, and the fact you feel you can’t go on, feeling you can’t live without that person, feeling the need to end it. 😢 It had ❄️ Part III I feel is going to be brutal more on the musical side. Maybe a bit less emotionally heavy, but my guess is with the title “In a Sea of Fire, not only will there be 🔥 but I think it will have some form of damnation, afterlife, Hell effect where they really unleash everything to it’s maximum. Can’t wait to see! Edit: (10/16/22) ok, I was wrong with what part III entailed. And it’s not a disappointment at all with the results. I thought it was going to have more of an angrier vibe, than a bittersweet one. That breakdown was perfect, the melodic symphonic outro really broke me, and brought it all full circle, really concluded the trilogy making it one of the best I’ve ever seen! 👌🏻❤️

Honestly, Lorna Shore was always a great band but I will say this again.... I think Will joining the group was the missing component they needed to really shine. Each member is so talented and they are all stepping up. The band as a whole are really blending together so well and musically the writing is absolutley amazing. They hit on so many subjects in this album and it is great to see. Mental Health is extremely important, and I would encourage anybody reading this to reach out for help.

Another reactor (Cyneward) shared an adage - after reacting to this video - that he says got him through feelings of wanting to not “be” anymore, that someone said to him on the idea of suicide: “It’s a Permanent solution, to a Temporary problem.” That got me.

This one hit hard, oh my God. As someone who has struggled with suicidal thoughts before, I understand how when you're in a state of feeling defeated that suicide would be your only way out. But it does get better, just keep fighting. You'll be glad you did. Adam, the lead guitarist, said when they were writing the album said he was going through the toughest time of his life and you can feel that emotion when he plays those solo's.. especially on these last two songs. Will, Adam and Austin said that they cried while writing this album and I think we all did as well. Jesus guys, I can't wait for part III and the rest of the album. I never thought Lorna Shore could break me like this, but damn they really did. I love you guys 💙

My sister passed away earlier this year, man i miss her so much, and now her fiancé doesn't know what to do now. So many times me, my family and his family talked him down from...'being with her again'. They were together for 13yrs and didn't marry sooner cuz they wanted to save up for a nice wedding, they loved each other and that was enough at the time. He hates himself for not marrying her. This song hits home.

On January 15, 2004 I lost my children. My first born twins Christian and Destiny due to being born at 22 weeks. I didn't really have time to grieve for them because I became pregnant my short time after and had my son in November of 2004. Then in 2006 we had a little boy named Keegan. About 8 months into his life he became failure to thrive. We then found out that he had a rare genetic disorder. We didn't know what that until that the time. On January 8th 2008 he coded 10 times throughout the night. And then passed away on January 9th. He was almost 14 months old. That time became extremely hard for me. I thought of suicide but didn't have any plans of it. I just kept praying and praying that I would never wake up. I ended up getting help eventually because of my son and my husband needed me. But the feelings from these songs resonate so much. The feeling of loss, The emptiness the hopelessness and wanting it to all end.

Fuck it’s broke me so many times but I’m thankful for it. I really hope part 3 is the make not being dead and learning to move heal as I have.

I can only say that for me it is incredibly relatable and it hits me hard because not long ago.... you can say that I separated... from the person I thought would be the one I would stay with, that she was the one that everyone told me that he would come etc etc and well... he left... he left me, I could only cry, cry like never before and well I don't wish him any harm at all but yes... these videos remind me a little, in a certain way, that deep sadness, call me ridiculous for making this connection but at least for me that's how it feels, that's how I manage to relate it

I have attempted to take my own life in two times, I've been in the bottom of the barrel and now I'm still struggling with those thoughts. Thanks to my wife I can handle that better, she means all to me and my worst nightmare would be losing her. Now Lorna Shore takes these two topics and makes a trilogy about them... FUCK! this really hits me harder than anybody could imagine. Can't wait for part III (probably released on october 14th with the album release), guitarist Adam said that that's his favorite part of the trilogy, I'm stoked.

Definitely not only Lorna. Few examples: AngelMaker - A Dark Omen, Oath to Order - Defilement, and my favourite Shadow of Intent - The Tartarus Impalement, The Prophet's Beckoning, Farewell, Life of Exile, Oudenophobia. Also melodic death metal is pretty close to deathcore I would say, and there are plenty of bands as well with emotional songs. One of my favourites is Aether Realm - The Sun, The Moon, The Star or The Strength, both awesome songs

Both of these recent Lorna Shore songs has made a huge impression on me. This year I separated from my girlfriend and best friend after being together 12 years. Shortly after I was seduced, betrayed and manipulated by a narcissist. I got away thankfully from her but It felt like my entire world fell apart. Like they sing in the beginning "It's like the world I knew keeps passing, Unlike the void I've become". That's how I felt and still do from time to time. I'm still not fully healed and I've struggled with suicidal thoughts since my early teenage years. I've always felt like an outcast, like I couldn't find somewhere I belonged. So yeah, this and Dancing Like Flames has so much meaning to me and the videos are so amazing as well, can't watch them without shedding some tears..

Hello Zarko, happy you're here with us. I wanted to tell you that it does get better. But it also gets worse. That's the debilitating truth of depression and suicidal thoughts. I (Mat) turn 37 this year and have just had two of the hardest years of my life. I had some really dark days were the thoughts were endless and I didn't know how I was going to manage. The trick for me was finding a hobby or something to lift my mood and escape. Also talking to people who struggle like us has helped a lot too. Knowing there are others going through the same thing can help you feel less alone. Not sure if you're on our Discord channel or not but we have a strong community built of like minded people and a mental health channel to vent or talk with others. ❤

I tried a few hobbys like pyrography, vocal covers of mostly black and death metal, a bit of japanese fencing vut nothing seems to keep me focused on something other than self destructuve patterns... and while talking might help others it doesnt help me, i can talk about the crap i have to deal with but its just talk nothing else... and the only reason why i didnt end it is cause all of the pain i have will be give to others and amplified a thousand fold, which would be selfish... but i have a feeling i will end up doing something i wont get to regreat in the future.. Thanks and sorry for my bitching.

when my wife and mother of my child died from a car accident i tried to off myself. I honestly wish i had succeeded. its been 8 years and it hasnt gotten any better or easier. I have woken up many times drunk as shit laying on her grave. I had to move becuz i couldnt be in our house anymore. I wish I would finally die so i can be with her again.

At this very day, at about this exact time, I first learned a thoroughly loved ex-GF of mine took her own life just a few days earlier. Oct. 6th is the day I want to get taken out of the calendar. But that won't ever be done. What probably CAN be done, is reaching more people by also including Wikipedia's List of suicide crisis lines, next to the National suicide prevention hotline. The URL is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_suicide_crisis_lines

@@MatandChelsReact I'm ok: coping & getting through. And, you guys adding that wiki link in the post description helps with that, because this is not about me, but about people struggling. I sincerely believe lives can be saved & possible have already been saved BC of Lorna's audience but also yours.
