Junior was obviously starting to lose his marbles by this point, but I can't help but wonder if Lorraine saying the Sopranos have two bosses set him down the path of not only that varsity athlete crap but just always talking down to Tony in general. Junior was neeever a dick to Tony throughout the first couple seasons but seems like after the accident is when all the hurtful comments started. Maybe Lorraine is the reason Junior always said hurtful things. As is made abundantly clear in The Sopranos and Many Saints, Junior is a petty, insecure, vengeful man.
