I lost my husband 12-22-21 and it's tough...however he loved Lorrie and right before he got sick, the sick that took his life, I had gotten tickets to her concert....once there, I showed him that I had backstage passes and he got to meet her!! We got a picture with his arm around her!!! That picture and the huge smile on that Police Chiefs face is all I really have left.... but it makes me happy to see how excited he was to meet her and take a picture ❤ beautiful lady

Sometimes I wonder why country music isn't divided into categories like they've done with rock music. I mean, rock started out as "rock 'n roll," but now we have hard rock, soft rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, etc.

That's what makes Country Music, it comes from the heart and has true meaning. I absolutely love this song and especially Lorrie Morgan's cover of it. You can feel the emotion she puts into it. Having lost my first Wife in 2010 songs like this one and Vern Gosden Chisled in Stone just has much more meaning to them.

I can't imagine that it will ever stop feeling so Raw, so Fathomless....I've listened to Lorrie Morgan since she first came out publicly, in the 70s, a child wonder. Her voice Cries, her heart- wails through her voice- commiserating with each of us. Right now, because of that, I can't listen to her, a Die Hard COUNTRY singer...I'll be glad when I can listen, again.....

I can't imagine that it will ever stop feeling so Raw, so Fathomless....Had I not been an AA Member, and truly understood one day at a time, (and I am still sober, April 1, 1986, which I could only maintain for him, as he struggled so with alcohol) I couldn't face each day. It will be a while before I can listen to this song, especially her version (I can hear George's in my head). Condolences, love and prayers.

Lorrie is my favorite female artist from the 90s decade. I love how her southern accent shines in her vocals and she can take even a mediocre song and make it so much better because of the beauty of her voice.

My mom died in 1992 from cancer and she loved this song so much she asked us to play it for her at her funeral and she got what she asked for. I loved it then and it still bring tears to me now all these years later. Lorrie Morgan is and was great

This song makes me think of my dad and sister Hattie and I couldn't listen it this morning, but I happened on this comment before I left. Timmy, what a beautiful sentiment; you and yours are in my prayers--this really touched me. Thank you @lorriemorgan (please get Twitter) for a catalogue of #lorriemorgan Go-Tos. Dear Me, I'm Trainwreck of Emotions, but Tuesdays I get a little sideways and I could go on, but it wouldn't be half-enough, so enjoy the music everyone. Xoxo , d

This song was sung at my husbands funeral. Five years after his death, he would not like the picture he would see. It’s so bad without him here. In the next few months, I have no idea where I will be in this life. Please prayer for me.

Truly one of the greatest of her generation! I have been her fan since her first album and still get excited when I hear her music to this day! She was a page turner for Country music and women. She made it OK to be absolutely stunning and gorgeous and dress sexy and still was celebrated for her craft and omg what a incredible voice this woman has still! I've watched many interviews that Lorrie has done and she is as grounded as can be. Tons of frigging cool stories from her childhood growing up in the Grand Old Opry. Lorrie is definitely one of my female musicians heroes because of her incredible strength. Absolutely adore her!

I remember when thie song came . My Son was born in 91 I would sing this song to him and my 4 yr old daughter. Many years later my daughter went to visit her Dad ,she said, Dad has Lorrie Morgan's CD. I asked why. He said he remembers me singing that song. I just shook my head.
