Just unbelievable that she's not yet been inducted. However, I haven't researched whether or not she resides in TN. I found out only lately that it is a stipulation of a CM artist. That is the only reason that George Strait has never been inducted. He's always decided to remain a resident of TX. I think this rule is just preposterous.

All marriages have heartbreaking moments. The marriages that last have plenty. But, you HAVE to work it out and keep going. Unless someone beats you or cheats on you-then LEAVE the 1st time they do! Otherwise...you swore to your God and the country in front of many ppl (or a few ppl) you'd love eachother for better or worse until DEATH do you part. All we have is our word. And loving eachother involves plenty of forgiveness and compromise. When you don't consider divorce an option, you stay married Met my husband when we were 20, 15 years later, we've seen our share of struggles, and we have hurt each other because we are not perfect. But if I knew then what I know now, how hard marriage is sometimes, I'd do it all over again. ❤

Ms.Miner, I pray that you see this....every single thing I've learned about love tells me I would not need any convincing to help my partner if they needed it. Even if I didn't want to I would still help. You broke my heart, but I would still help you. I never knew love, foster homes didn't teach it so I find it extremely odd that even with my life I still believe in true love. To all who are selfish and narrow minded........if you knew just how much that shit hurt, you'd probably still do it, so I'm wasting my breath. I STILL love you, even tho I don't want to.

There is much truth to this song. We take people for granted and don't talk. You have to talk and show love and affection. Tell your spouse you love and appreciate them.
@TheMC12154 жыл бұрын
“What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.” Don’t expect your partner of no matter how many days, weeks, months, years or decades to become a mind reader. Like all good things, one must continue to work and fight for a happy marriage. After three decades, and still going strong, we still work at it. And remember to be kind to one another, be forgiving, and ask for forgiveness when you’ve stepped off in it! But it takes two, so for some, unfortunately, reconciliation is not an option.

I would like to add that it important to be receptive to your spouse when they’re talking and try not to assume what they are feeling or saying. You can be the world’s best communicator but if your spouse is constantly tuning you out, what’s the point.
@TheMC12154 жыл бұрын
Someone said, “The reason you have two ears and one mouth is to listen twice as much as you talk.” I’m as guilty as most of thinking I know the answer before the question is asked. We are all a work in progress. Anyhow, if my partner is tuned out, I probably need to stop saying and start doing. Someone else told me, “Your actions speak so loudly I can’t hear the words you’re saying!” And sometimes it really is too late. There’s more life to live. Learn and move forward.

This is one of those songs that sneaks up on you. I remember hearing it on the radio when it was new and I didn't like it the first few times I heard it. I had recently gone through a painful divorce and this song hit a lot of sore spots. Still, you couldn't deny that this song was speaking to millions of people in this country who were going through something similar to this. I also like how this song presents both sides, it's not just his fault, it's not just her fault. Sometimes things just happen and you just can't figure out how to fix them. I very quickly grew to love this song and I still think it's one of Patty's best. This song is a good companion song for another Loveless hit, "The Trouble With The Truth."

Usually it's the woman feeling this way, a couple should be able to tell each other their feelings but in all honesty a strong relationship should never get to this point. If you love somebody always make it a habit to show them not just say it. Love works best as an action. Which ALOT of men don't seem to know that. so what if you say I love you. Show her you love her.
