Thank you for sharing your experience with alcohol ink art supplies. I played with alcohol inks about 15 yrs ago. My passion is resin art, but one of the things about resin art is that you can put anything in resin. I recently found my stash of previously created alcohol art and realized how nice it would be to put them together. I have Resin Art alcohol inks for petri effect in resin, but now I can use them to put on "paper" which I can then put into resin. I have used photo paper, but haven't been very happy with the results. Now I know what paper to buy.

Great to see you! I ALWAYS follow your "Kamar Varnish" rule first when coating anything I make with Alcohol Inks! You know I love your work, it occurred to me how cool it would be if you could transfer your art (as a print) to adhesive vinyl to wrap a drinking tumbler, that would be incredible!

You know I always love seeing your comments! You have a great idea there and I am sure it could be done. The tumblers could be coated with resin afterwards to keep the vinyl from coming off. You can actually paint directly on the vinyl as well as clear sicker sheets and apply them, but lots more work that way lol

@@LorrieBrewer I just got some Arteza white vinyl sticky sheets, so I'm going to give it a try, now all I have to do is get good at your beautiful technique! LOL

Thank you so much, I've just found you and this is very helpful as I've never used alcohol inks before... First time I'm going to be using them as I've challenged myself to use some of my supplies I've not used yet. I'm in the UK so I will see what can be found here I have no idea yet... Hugs Elaine xx

Sooooo Great to see you, Lorri! It's been a long time. I haven't done much art work with my alcohol inks or watercolors. Spring is upon us here in Kentucky, and I just happened to see your video. Thank you so very much for your information here. It refreshes those that work with alcohol inks, or those that are starting out. Hope you, and your family are fine!! You are the Best!! 😘👍💖

Thank you for another lovely comment by you! I always enjoy seeing the names of those of you who have been with me for so long. I was born in KY (although we moved to NC when I was very young) and still have a large amount of family around the Shelbyville and Louisville areas. It’s a beautiful state and I don’t get back there often enough these days.

Hi Lorrie! Thanks for sharing all you art, tips and informative videos. Could you list the photo papers you mentioned in? I have been watching your videos and LOVE your style. I am a perfectionist and have a fear of failure so I would like to be able to practice on less expensive paper to start out. 😁😍
