Los Angeles Metro Rail in 1995-2000, plus bonus shop tour

The Electric Railroaders Association 1995 convention was held in Los Angeles. Featured is the LA Blue Line (now A line) in Long Beach, Various scenes from the red/purple (now B/D), with a bonus shop tour at the Green (now C) line light rail shops in Redondo Beach. This video was filmed with an 8mm Sony analog Handycam. The film quality is not up to modern standards but still captures a snapshot in time. #losangelesmetro

This video doesn't take place in 1995. That looks more like 2000-ish. 5:17 The Metro Blue Line (A Line) was running two Nippon Sharyo P865 light rail vehicles painted in the Pacific Electric Red Car livery to celebrate LA Metro Rail's 10th anniversary. Also, the Metro Red Line (B Line) already had stations in Wilshire/Western (now served by the Purple/D Line), Hollywood/Vine, Universal City, and North Hollywood. 3:51 Also, the Metro Green Line (C Line) started introducing and test running Siemens P2000 light rail vehicles on the Green Line's Division 22 yard in Hawthorne.
