My axle pin kept coming loose and chewing up the assembly, so I took it out to the shop and cleaned it thoroughly, and busted out the ole tig welder, and welded it to the cup, a little Lucas red and tacky later, and a new axle boot and it’s happy as a clam 🤣

Imo steel shielded bearings hold up better than rubber shield bearings. Steel shields are tighter fitted keeps more dirt out.

Debatable👍💯 shielded definitely provide less rolling resistance, harder to clean when debris enters pending where you run. Rubber shielded allow cleaning and repack of lube. But at this rate being hobby grade and not professional automotive it's never going to matter anyway 🤜💯🤛

I would add locktight on those two screws holding down the carbon fiber arm, I had one of my screws come out on my rear hub on my kraton 8s they are hot racing also

The fake bolts are just plastic and my lug wrench used fits in-between at the flats and just grinds them down with every twist

I use clear rubber silicone on my pins when I put them in . I got the idea from rich duper dash. No lost pins since

Am trying to change my pinion gear from 17t to18T for alittle more top end speed, For some reason i cannot get the Pinion gear off i believe if loctite on the shaft any suggestions?

Heat it up with a tiny torch for 10 15 sec then try again if it’s locktighed then you will more then likely need heat to loosen it

I just yes I did a follow up video explaining that. Also contacted HR direct as they had no intention of supplying more. I found some on eBay and let a KZbinr know so he could buy a set.

I would suggest that anyone buying a dbxl-e 2.0, before your 1st run, go through every set screw and screw and use blue lock tight. I've had mine a week and already I've had to replace a servo (broke on 2nd set of batts within 5 mins) wasn't even a hard bashing. Now a set screw (Driver side axle) (4th run on flat ground) has come out and gone. I like the vehicle, but the quality control isn't there. +_(
