3 x 15min idle. Let it cool every 15min. 4th 15min half throttle riding. After that 5th 15min riding with a burst of full throttle. Why rush. After all you want it to last. Thanks for not going full throttle on this on. After tuning it will be a lot of fun :-)

I think there are too many TROLLS in here... NEVER JUST GO RUN A SMALL GAS ENGINE LIKE THIS!! Unless your rich and just don’t give a fk. There is a reason the people who make these cars have a section called “breaking in your gas engine” right there in the manual.

sLyKnEzZ most guys i know dont break in there engines and never had any problems . Just Make sure the engine runs a bit rich the firts 2 tanks And let it cool down more often . You should be fine

RC Fun & more Just running a little rich doesnt get the engines full potential to bare either. If you run an engine in the right way, and tune properly, there is no doubt you'll have a much longer running and more reliable engine.

Tim Waz that's what jeff slavens the dirt bike engine builder told me about fresh two strokes. Go slow a quarter mile from the truck and ride it. Heat cycles just glaze cylinders

Tim Waz go watch OBR TECH TIP “BREAKING IN 2 STROKE RC ENGINES” they build them for a living. You don’t just run them straight from the box. Even the manufacturer doesn’t suggest running hard from the get go. You have to give the piston ring a chance to work themselves in before going full throttle. When you buy a new motorcycle, or car you aren’t supposed to just run them hard either. If you don’t give the brand new parts a chance to settle in then your just asking for issues, especially if you want your investment to last a while. These little engines especially.

@sLyKnEzZ well the ring will simply seat more quickly! Modern engines don't require any special run in procedure. That was the case 50 years ago when machining tolerances, fuels and oils weren't as good as they are today.

Genova Gains electrics aren’t too bad. I wouldn’t own one, but there are some that kick ass and dirt! Most are even faster than gas, there are even real world electric cars that beat the doors off of any gas production car. I myself like the sound of real horse power so I’ll never go electric, but there not to be slouched at either.

It's a 1/5 scale 4wd monster truck it's designed for off road running primeraly, but one you can use it on any surface. This thing weighs 30kg and does 30mph out of the box, ittl pretty much drive over anything.
