It's all about handling for these small tracks. I bet an optimized lightweight setup using a smaller brushless motor on 2S is the key to low lap times. I bet a 1S pan car would be ideal on this track.

3s 1300-1500mah SHOULD be perfect. From experience, especially with planes, (& now with these), hh/spektrum designs their batteries to 'fit' their products. I.E. 'proprietary'.

But, after my lipo fire, with the exception of a very few batteries, I'm all smart tech with batteries & chargers. 1 fire per lifetime is too much.

Yep. Already got all that R&D money dumped into the chassis, body, etc. only a couple bucks to throw one of their existing systems in with tougher gears and sell it as new
