A message to the cameraman. As someone who has freelanced for multiple creative and advertising agencies in Uk and Dubai... Jump into corporate. It doesn't have to be boring or soulless. Diversify your portfolio and raise your earnings. It also doesn't need to be 3 month back dates payments. Just agree terms upfront. Dont let arrogance stunt your growth bro

I agree with you for sure. I always agree terms up front, I think for me I am so content being in my own lane the people that they usually deal with "need" the work/jobs so I always initially get pitched rubbish terms or contracts so when I say no it becomes a whole back and forth and I just aint got the energy mannnn 😂 I am super super humble but when it comes to business I'd say i'm quite different. I'd be open to more corporate work though. Thanks for tuning in, very grateful

As depressing as some of the topics are brought up on this platform. Its the harsh awakening that young men need to kick themselves into gear.
@alexgeorge102820 күн бұрын
Why do young boys need this awakening but young women don't?
@jpswerve18220 күн бұрын
@@alexgeorge1028 Excuse you but where did you see me write "young women don't". There is no need at all to take it there. The platform these guys have built is around men's fitness and their issues with their lifestyle. Doesn't mean women are not into fitness. Are you a young women? They I think you should go to another channel that serves you. Young men are under a lot of pressure to do what's right, handle financial matters and take on responsibility, and play the "traditional role" in society, even when you were born with the cards stacked against you. The pressure is unique and different from everyone else's, and these two men of African and immigrant descent have interesting perspectives that their demographic can relate and identify with.

Isn't there a point where the focus should switch to starting a family & building a legacy? Rather than still chasing a certain amount of money?

@@kc270352 true. But for those that are. I just personally think that when you get to a certain age, legacy/starting a family should take precedence over a car you want or an amount of money you're chasing.

@kc270352 damn, looks like my response got deleted. I basically said for the men that ARE in a decent position financially, shouldn't the focus switch to starting a family?

A lot of industries are ok with criminal records, just declare it and be honest. Financial services I know is fine with most crimes, as long as it had nothing to do with dishonesty, fraud, theft, or money laundering. There is usually a version of having to be 'fit and proper' for various industries. In the UK/London there are Livery companies - they will be happy to answer questions you might have for people to get into the different sectors. One thing not mentioned is people's little obsession with running their own business and not working for others. So many sectors basically let you run your own business within a larger business.

Every person should do a self audit every year to know their true value... It's not always about just money. It can be relationships, network, licences, qualifications, health, family, investments etc. If it don't offer value in the cash flow, it's a liability that needs to go.

This might be an unpopular take but why don't you ask your friends with 'real money' to bring you in or the ones going on holidays anytime. Maybe i'm slow, but I don't understand some of these discussions. If you're my friend help me get to the same position or adequate.

@@greatnessonly5195 Fair, I'm not talking about 'leeching'. My point is that if you have friends who are successful, why wouldn't you ask them to help. However, you keep talking about these mates and how you want to be in the same position as them.
