Gregory really mastered this character. There's very few deaths that bring me to tears. I haven't cried like this since Nathan's death. I will truly miss Gregory so much. Give Michael Easton and Gregory Harrison an Emmy please. Incredible acting! 🥹

Michael Easton is amazing in this scene. He clearly knows, subconsciously, that something is wrong. He almost seemed to know what happened before he even opened the door. Once he did, you can see on his face, even before he checks his pulse, HE KNEW.

ALS is a cruel disease! My brother-in-law passed away at 43 years young, never being able to talk, move, hug his wife and children ever again. This passing of Gregory Harrison's character was shown in the best way. This loss is so sad, but mostly this storyline brought and brings awareness that many/most do not live a long life like Stephen Hawking. Love those in your life with passion, life takes horrible twists and turns.😢💔

Honestly, it felt like his death was rushed. Mike, Stone, abd Oscar all died from debilitating illnesses and they all had progressive declines where you KNEW they were gonna die pretty soon. Gregory’s death was almost too quick abd painless. Don’t get me wrong. Glad he died in peace. Just would have imagined he’d continue to debilitate until he couldn’t speak or move without assistance. Was this rushed cuz Michael Easton got fired? Also why was he fired and when

This scene reminded me of my grandmas passing who died two years ago. This scene and her passing hurt so much. The loss of a parent is a hard one. I completely understand why Finn took that drink after my mom described it as you feel dead inside when you loose a parent and have to learn how to live again. People act so calm about it like it's no big deal but when you are really close with your parents it is very hard but then you really don't have any regrets because you were there for them. -the rumors on the internet are in fact, ugly- after reading many of the comments- felt more like a campaign to push him out- I’ve said this before- be careful what you wish for- Easton is a phenomenal actor- Should the rumors be true, he deserves a spectacular send off- the character is drinking again- this would open that up- The Chase family was stable, and definitely a solid improvement- I’m just not enamored of the current storylines ever since Drew and Carly were forced to break up. Regression is present- if you outgrow your soap as a viewer- Dysfunction isn’t the way. To hold on to your microscopic size of viewers- they’ll just leave. Or those of us that write will write something better. That’s the business. Thanks for the heads up- but those that pushed those rumors for clout/ handled it in a distasteful way- Signed, An insider.
