I feel like staring out a window from a dystopian apartment contemplating how my life could have been better with this on

This song is so sad yet so peaceful. I've struggled a lot lately with depression and sometimes it's nice to rot and accept it rather than fight it

I fr feel you, but now I’ve started wondering why do we subconsciously choose to get depressed? Why sadness? Why loneliness? Is it because this is all meaningless? If it is meaningless, which it is, then why don’t we consciously choose happiness? Why don’t we do what we want to do? Why do we care so much about others opinions and the state of the world if it’s nothing to do with our life? Why can’t we say fuck this shit and live our lives as we want to and not according to the society’s expectations of us? There’s a spiritual war going on inside all of us, and the side we feed be it sadness or happiness wins, and creates our reality. Isn’t it so? I would love to have a conversation on this. Thanks for hearing me out…

She really couldn't even comprehend it. Ray Penber's wife seemed like a genius, and in the moment of her defeat she couldn't even come to grips with her loss. Her eyes going vacant before realization spread.
