These are wonderful recipes! Can’t wait to try some. I’m curious about the sea moss. Do you know if it is enriches with it after harvest with the B12? I’ve always been told that’s one vitamin that can only come from animal protein. (But I’m skeptical) Currently I take a multivitamin to cover the bases.

Hi Natalie, I personally do not. I typically (although not depicted in this video) have a small amount of chia seeds, hemp seeds, or flaxseeds daily. The experts seem to disagree if you need to supplement or not. So I advise you to do what feels comfortable for you. You could always consume a bit of the above mentioned as well as supplement. I did do that right after having my baby.

Everything looks so tasty. Ok, not a mushroom fan at all, but my husband is so I need to try this "taco" dish. And I've never heard of sea moss gel or anything like what you shared, but it sounds like it's healthy.

Should I eliminate the Zinc I take each day if I consume the sea moss which has zinc in it?

Hi Catherine, I’d see how you feel. I’m not sure how much you are currently taking daily. There’s no reason to overdose, but it’s always trial and error. You’ll know you are having too much zinc if you begin to feel any nausea, get cramping or diarrhea. The recommend amount is 8mg per day for women, just as a reference. 💚

Hi Georgina, sometimes I do get into the habit of weighing daily, but mostly every few days or once a week. More than anything I recommend tuning into eating only when you are actually hungry and stopping when satisfied. This is hard work to really be conscious of and to relearn. As far as macros, I don’t cut everyday but I try to keep my fat low. This is key as well to lose weight on a whole food plant based diet. 💚

Haha! This one is virtually tasteless😂 but you could always just omit it from the recipes and they will still taste great.
