This allows me to start with the Dom Fang buff and have my next awakening up before the buff expires without having to worry about C+J proc at the start.

Thanks for the vid, I've been wondering how well this build does. I haven't gone 5x3+1 yet on my PS so I'm considering switching for this new update. If I used Cursed Doll instead of Mass Increase, that shouldn't change much right? Would that also allow me to go 1 Crit / 1 Swift ring instead of full Swift?

Yes, if you take CD you can go higher on crit. MI is only strictly for full swift.

That was sick AF. I haven’t seen a build like this before and the new animation for SH awakening is cool. Is PS engraving best only at level 1 or level 3 good too? What tripods do you use for spinning blade and grind chain? Do you have elixir set and how does this build compare to entropy?

1) PS is still better at Lv1, but you can use Lv3. But Adr1 for this particular build isn't an option as you'll be way too low crit otherwise. 2) Spinning Weapon is 332 and Grind Chain is 131. Your tripods are probably different at the moment though. 3) Yes, I do have the Mastery elixir, which works like Adrenaline (crit rate & additional damage per stack). As for how it compares to Entropy, 6 Dom Fang actually does have a higher ceiling at least from what I've tested.

Hi was wondering if you had a breakdown for this build? Was wondering where the crit was coming from, aside from the crit rate engravings, cause I see some kr builds running at 1.8k swift, and I don't know where they're getting the crit from spinning weapon etc.

You can run Demonic Slash over Decimate and have just enough meter generation. There are problems though 1) Decimate accounts for about 10% of the total damage, which is not insignificant. Dropping it for Demonic Slash means you're effectively giving up that much damage. 2) It is in theory enough gauge generation, but that's assuming your rotations are always perfect. In an actual raid scenario, there will be situations where you miss some skills or have to prioritize using spender skills first due to boss patterns. When this happens and your gauge goes empty and you'd need 2-3 cycles of Demon Clone to fill up the gauge again which delays your whole cycle considerably.

KBW would be the most reasonable to drop, yes. Still I'd recommend going PS1 instead of PS3 if possible.

If you're planning to go for 6 Dom Fang then you'd probably need mana bracelet + food + support. I'm currently using 2NM 4Dom, so nope it doesn't require mana bracelet nor food.

Definitely. The fact that you don't need to constantly hug the back + not having to put up with Demolition's long cast animation does make it a lot easier imo.

@@mikezhang8406 Is it a 9/7 stone? I definitely wouldn't recommend having any attack speed reduction as it can affect your overall DPS. However, if it's a 9/7 stone it should be fine.

@@mikezhang8406 If it's a 7/7 I would definitely recommend cutting a new one. I can't say exactly how many % loss it is but it will be noticeable since you do have a lot of occasions when skill cooldowns overlap. When that happens, any attack speed loss will result in a sizeable DPS loss as well.

But how do we mitigate downtime on dominion buff? Even with 1833 swift I have 25 seconds downtime of dominion :/

You always need to proc Conviction + Judgement before an awakening cast. This way, you'll have about 4s of downtime.

@@SpectralVessaliux Thank you for replying! I've been testing it out since, it seems like the internal cooldown of J+C is 30 seconds. Now it seems to be nearly impossible to consistently make J+C proc with the minimum time in between (30 sec). With your build, I find that I need to wait for like 10 seconds after dominion runs out for another J+C proc to line up, or I need to not activate the previous proc from like 20 seconds ago and hold it until my ult is ready. I've tested running one ring with crit on it, and I end up with around 15 sec dominion downtime, but my J+C procs line up much better. What are your thoughts on running one crit ring? With 1 crit ring I have enough swiftness for 100% RC efficiency with lv 3 yearning, i have like 7% more crit chance but i have like 10 seconds more downtime on dominion, and slightly less ability cooldown reduction.

@@RandomCommenter9 This is the reason why I run Conviction on Spinning Weapon and Judgement on Grind Chain. I usually use Grind Chain -> Spinning Weapon and thus never proc C+J unwillingly. When you do need to proc it, you'd use it in the reverse order and pretty much guarantee the proc. With this in mind, you'd need to ensure you hold your C+J if your awakening cooldown is under 30s. I'd not recommend going lower on swift. While it can work in some situations where you happen to enter a boss mechanic just as the buff expires, it could also result in serious DPS loss if it happens to expire mid DPS window. You'd also need to drop Mass Increase as your Aspd would drop even further.

@@SpectralVessaliux Interesting, so going from around 36% atk speed to around 32.5% is a tangible dps loss? Seeing as atk speed only affects the speed of animations, if you are waiting for cooldowns then it doesnt actually increase dps, but it does increase dps in this case then? We dont have the balance patch in EU yet, but from what I can see the only cd changes are slight increases to some abilities cds. On EU, in trixion im finding myself waiting for cooldowns for about 1 second every 10 seconds, if the only changes are slight cd increases, then ill conservatively estimate ill be waiting for cds about 1.2 sec every 10 sec. But still, if you are waiting for cooldowns at any time in a rotation, then the bottleneck is the ability cooldown and atk speed does nothing. If cooldowns are refreshing too quickly to where you can never have every ability on cooldown at the same time, then atk speed is the bottleneck. Atk speed only increases dps when it's the bottleneck. However this does assume perfect uptime which is unrealistic.

@@RandomCommenter9 Yes that is correct. However you have to account for the fact that you will not be able to continuously rotate all your skills due to mechanics (unlike Trixion). Thus when all skills are ready, your skills all go off slower if your aspd is lower, pushing back all your cooldown. This snowballing a couple of times in a fight can result in significant DPS loss. There will also be cases where you run out of gauge due to you prioritizing on Spender skills while dodging patterns. This will require you to get off your generation skills before throwing out your Spenders. Same problem as explained above. With full swift you're sitting at 36% Aspd, and with wine that brings you up to 39% (or 40% with feast alone).

At lower item levels, I would generally recommend playing the full/high crit Nightmare variant since yearning would only be 8-10% at lower levels. Grudge + KBW + Adr + PS. If you have Slasher's movement speed tripod maxed, you can go Raid Captain. Else Cursed Doll.

Dom Fang does have the highest ceiling, but Nightmare is fine as well. The main problem with the crit variant of Nightmare is that 1) You have to use Slasher instead of Rising Claw which makes the build's stagger and destruction abysmal 2) You need to replace Decimate with Demonic Slash, which makes the overall gauge gain extremely tight and decreases the overall DPS (Decimate is about 10% of your total damage). For Nightmare I'd personally recommend going 50:50 or slightly higher swift and running this exact skill setup.

@@supervillain2311 If you're running high or full crit on NM, you'll be lacking movement speed for RC efficiency. Which is why you need the movement speed bonus from Demonic Slash or Slasher to compensate.
