I’m praying for you bro. I have suffered from insomnia on several occasions over the past decade due to chronic pain and it’s one of those ailments where you feel like utter crap, and you feel like everyone should be able to recognize how poorly you feel just by looking at you, and yet they can’t tell you’re ill at all. People often have an attitude of “snap out of it”-and you would if you could. I’m definitely thinking of you and hoping, praying and wishing you’ll be well soon. Insomnia is one of those unseen ailments that’s just terrible.
@101soldiergurl442 жыл бұрын
I am praying for you Damien. My dad had chronic pain; I use to think why doesn't he just snap out of it? They had him on Demerol, Darvon etc..etc...I didn't have any empathy until my first job out of the Army. I began working at UPS. I now have a really badly pinched sciatica. I hate the VA here in Phoenix, so going to see an MD thru ACCHS. Now I have learned empathy. OMG yes that's a lesson I have learned very humbly. Hope you get better, stay positive bruh!
@damienjstepick2 жыл бұрын
@@101soldiergurl44 appreciate it. At least you’re open to learning. These days it’s a rare enough thing for someone to admit to having been wrong. I’ve had to learn many lessons. I’ve had my own arrogance come back to haunt me, or in some instances, come back to teach me. I’ve revisited some of my past comments on Facebook in horror at how foolish, crass or shortsighted I was at times. Thing is, we once it’s out there all we can do is make peace with it and change for the better. Chronic pain is often an issue others can’t literally see affecting you. Therefore, unless they either experience it for themselves or are somehow introduced to how harrowing it can be, it’s understandable how dismissive many are. Thank you for writing me back. I appreciate your empathy and wish you well. Also, thank you for serving our country… I wish people appreciated members of our military and first responders more than they do. You all make sacrifices most of us will never truly understand. Happy New Year.

I am looking forward to part 2. The last account, the very wise man in Siberia, really does illustrate how/why humans attribute seemingly unexplainable events to aliens, the occult, the supernatural. Humans naturally connect the dots , in our minds , with often the simplest and/or the “boogeyman “ when we just plain don’t know. It is difficult for many to accept “I don’t know” and leave it at that.

But they were at a dead end with woods all around. instead of walking all the way up stairs i would just urinate outside . Well its 1 am and i hear a scream of bloody murder and ran away still peeing for the first ten strides haha. i spent two hours looking out the crack of the window praying i wasn't the one to go next. i told his mom about it and she just laughed at me "You didn't know foxes screamed like that??!" It was a very scary experience regardless
