Big B have you ever seen a split in the water chamber of the Sonicwake? I was wondering where water was coming from on the inside of the boat. I thought I would try your no prop test. I saw water coming in and spotter a 1” slit on the interior of the self righting water chamber. I used Goop to seal it! Works great.

Nice run. Just an idea to see the boat better use a brighter color tape or put some on the outriggers to see it better. It does blend in with the water very easily.

Wow I thought you meant that literally, I fear for you and your boats on that river, if they sink… I ran a boat on the James River up here in Richmond Va. and let the battery cut out on low voltage (many years ago when ESCs were new) yeah it was a Novac 🤣 It floated down river for awhile until it stoped at a man made embankment, I recovered it. What a stable boat that is, super fast and glued to the water, the rooster tails are are super impressive in them selves. Keepm coming Big B

That old dock is getting worse every day. Gonna take my drill out there here shortly to secure some planking. You'll absolutely love having a big rigger in your fleet, that MG36 Is bad azzz. Riding wheelies all day long!

Man I expected that long long run and that monster 20 pitch prop to add much more than 1 mph. I have mine arriving soon I guess I’ll see how it goes. You lucky you were able to walk that boardwalk I have had that oh I have lost the boat feeling and have paddled towards it and found it just out of range. That heart attach while I was paddling towards it. After losing 2 boats before it’s something only us Rc boat guys would understand.

Great video. Hey, I’ve seen where you said you leave your antenna inside the hatch. Does that affect the range at all? It seems to me on my SonicWake that it shouldn’t make a difference since the hull is made of plastic.

I never had any issues with the SonicWake loosing reception with my antenna inside the hull.

Thank you Sam, solid pass. I got the pre run jitters with this one. To be honest, I'm not sure if I've hit the electronics max potential, I haven't adjusted timing yet.. Basically, my 3rd atempt at high speeds, at this point I'm just testing props, to see which one I want to start tuning the boat in with..
