The concept of a nomadic style of play was the thing that kept me coming back to Worlds Adrift and the thing that I'm looking forward to most in Lost Skies. Too many rpg/survival games took the whole "settlement building" idea when playing in an open world that it stunted the player's desire to go into these huge worlds they created and explore things. By sticking to their roots and incentivizing exploration and knowledge, Lost Skies will gain immense replay value and people will be talking about it for years to come. It truly will set this game apart from every other open world game out there.

Y'know, ever since I first learned of Lost Skies I was paranoid that the airships weren't going to be as big a focus. Always glad to hear that they're even expanding upon them!

I think the enhanced thing we saw with the officers revolver wasn’t a temporary boost, but instead was more like a prestige thing where once you max out the level you can choose to enhance it to keep further upgrading it. This will allow you to keep a weapon you like for longer parts of progression. Great video, can’t wait for this game!

My guess is the green spot is the respawner. That is where you would normally put a respawner. Behind the helm.

I wanted a lot to play world adrift, but there was a ip block for south america. Do you plan to ip block Lost Skies too?

well I'm not sure what the devs plan is for in regard to IP related configurations, although the game will not be using servers like worlds adrift, and instead will have your own personal worlds where you can invite friends to play with you, similar to Valheim or Minecraft, so I believe there shouldn't be any issues. It’s not clear if that will be the case but it seems it’s likely they will provide some kind of gift to those that did, in what form I can’t be certain

Nothing I’m regards to beta testing, although the planned release date is sometime within 2024, but the team is in their pre-alpha at the moment, and you are able to sign up for their open dev testing for that pre-alpha in their discord, but there won’t be any new additions to that group until at least the start of the new year, nonetheless I recommend you still sign up soon as possible to have a better chance of being selected later on,I hope that helps somewhat! 😃

@@SgtVegas Not for Lost Skies, but if you get selected into the open dev community you will be able to gain access to everything, which generally makes sense as they wouldn't want your everyday person gaining access to a tool that could give away info or content that is under NDA. Tho if u need something in the mean time you are always able to download and play the Worlds Adrift island creator on steam and make islands there or just grapple around for fun on all community islands

Yes, they ran out of money because of poor decision making and the servers they used were too expensive. They are remaking the game but renaming it "Lost Skies"
