@@mug489t5 "Yaki" is a fan name derived from her full title: "Me ni Yakitsukeru"'. I personally prefer to refer to the canon incarnation by the portmanteau "Ayaki" since the manga reveal to differentiate from the fan-made persona previously made for her. But there's no "official" nickname, just as "Kuroha" is an unofficial designation as well.

The best part of this song isn't how well Will sung it or how perfect David the lyrics made. Though the lyrics seriously sounded like they were made by Jin himself. I mean seriously: "To save those day it's now or never" seems so generic but also so true and my faviorite: "Crying out towards the victim, If only you had died there with them" But as I said that's not the best part of the song. The best part is that it is the only song that conveys the feelings of the Ayano from the manga route. I made me realize though how much pain she went though, which the manga just wasn't able to convey because only songs can do that. And this song also feels like it was made for an Ayano version with her beeing so different from different routes. Altough this version of Ayano didn't kill herself she probably went through the most pain espacially after the route as the snake.

Extremely late but this here is just one of the best things honestly. Having a Lost Time Memory verison of Manga Route 2 Ayano was something I didn't expect when reading the title and the whole thing was beautiful (especially after I binged read the manga recently). The singing is amazing as you'd expect of Will and the lyrics really hit hard. (big paragraph of character thoughts) The parallels between one of the first routes where Ayano had the most fractures in her life compared to any of her other verison of herself, route xx shin's who gained more to lose compared to his manga route 2 self, & what I'd assume to be something *close* to Mekakucity Actors Shintaro being able to move on. All three characters from their own routes had a different ways of coping with lose to say the least, Manga 2 Ayano basically lashed out in anger towards Marry yet was also left with a burning desire to save everyone, XX Shin just outright giving into depression, killing Ene and ending it all without any direction, and (again something close but probably not exactly) MA Shin being able to move on after everything. I might have fumbled some details but the idea to convey how different the 3 are. Ayano here was basically the most isolated she's ever been yet was strong enough to still fight & grew close to her route's Shintaro, XX Shin had all of his friends die with him blaming himself to Ayano's suicide (thanks Kano for pushing that jeez) leaving him with no will, & MA Shintaro having built new connections and rebuilding old bridges to find an end to move forward.

@@abelerculano7565 Well there is the wiki that is quite helpful. But yes, there's been a manga since 2012 I believe, and it ended this year? An anime as well, though to understand the anime you'd need to go through all the songs, light novels, and manga chapters. And well, you'd need to be more specific on what songs don't seem to connect. I'd be happy to explain, or the wiki. Whichever's more helpful to you.

It's probably a fanmade lyrics, but the video is composed of the scenes from manga(in this route shintaro haven't met ayano), the song additional memory and ayano's perspective in lost time memory.
