I am in a bit of a lull with sewing at the moment. I totally agree with you. I know there is no use me forcing myself to sew because it's then that I can't concentrate and make mistakes. I have taken a break and done some Tunisian crocheting and now I am planning to sew one of those burrito pillow cases for my new pillow. Something simple, quick and easy to do. I had fun going to the fabric shop and looking for my fabric. Have just ironed the fabric.... Oh and yes, I tidied up. Yep, I'm on my way back. Yipee.....

I totally agree about having a tidy space to sew helps with motivation. Sometimes I’ll reorganize a drawer as well.

Haya. Great video. I have been in & out of losing my sewjo a lot this year, new patterns & or going thru my pattern collection helps & tidying my sewing area (not that it always needs it) recently making a table for cutting out has helped me significantly as I have a bad back & needed something height appropriate, I always dreaded cutting out on the floor, the thing was I had a light bulb moment, I had all this wood in the garage, so I turned it into a table, it is not a fixed table, I simply stand the leg frames & lay 3, 4 or 5 pieces of shelving on top & voila a table, I can add or take away the shelving to suit :) Thanku for sharing. xx

I spotted me!! #famousfor5seconds 😆 Great vlog & suggestions. I've been searching my mojo of late so put aside any idea of sewing for me & am making exclusively for my Hubby, our Son & Daughter in law... I'm liking the idea of wrapping them up warm, in cuddly, cosy clothes & searching out the right patterns for each person to fabrics I know they'll love is really re kindling my creative fire 🔥 😍

Thanks Sally. Oh gosh, the mess is my biggest hurdle! My wee room always gets crazy....it was actually filming this vlog that got my to finally tidy it up after a few months of chaos! So glad I did, I am sewing away like crazy now!! lol
