Having the right set up, right tools, makes projects momentary fun. Heads up abalone shell dust is way deadly , any orifice is a cancer ground

Sometimes I believe items are intentionally made to look worse than they actually are for the video and I believe this is 100% the case in this video! After all that dirt the wick was in prestige condition and the cotton filling was like new. This is a huge turn off! You can restore an it that doesn’t appear to be completely rotten. I hope you take this to heart people aren’t stupid and you are good without the bs.

You make a great point. I can promise I was shocked too when I saw the wick and cotton too. I got the lighter from my neighbor who asked me to fix it up for him.

Good restoration.. You need to invest in sandblasting machine and powder coating system these will help you and make restoration more beautiful and satisfying..

Yep, I had an oyster shell to make the handle shine a lot more than the old plastic.
