Endless corridors leading to massive empty rooms but sometimes containing environments or abstract objects and simple geometric shapes and patterns. sometimes the corridors are very narrow and maze like with useless doors and staircases everywhere. I've been chased by "demons" with super sharp teeth thru many kinds of strange places. Some dreams are clearer than real life memories. Anthropos Anthropos, well, yeah, this could be a pretty well made video. However, in general The Poolrooms is described as a very peaceful and wanderer-friendly level, where the wanderer hardly encounters any (hostile) entities. So, in that sense, this video is pretty unrealistic with those entities, no matter how neat he has tried to made it look. This video just doesn't match to the general description of this level, so it's very understandable that everyone don't like that, what they see in the video.

The best pool room for me. This huge space with these disproportionate dark swimming pools and the noises that resonate are really anxiety-provoking for me and wake up my Talassophobia. Space seems so hostile and threatening. And unlike other pool room footage on KZbin, where the architecture looks more like a maze, yours really looks like something incoherent, disproportionate to human scale and where backrooms feel like they're failing to create convincing simulacra of man-made space. However, emptying out of this space is scary and I find that the writings on the wall clash with the rest of the atmosphere and break up the terrifying loneliness of this space.
@leenone8456 Жыл бұрын
I hadn't really thought of it like that. Being in a place where everything is so seemingly jumbled and out of place, only to find that maybe you (human) have the wrong perspective. Maybe it is meant for a giant? Yet that doesn't seem quite right either. No, this one is meant for something else, something so foreign and large our minds can't quite fathom it... Or maybe it's just the backrooms, and you've been alone for much too long now.

In the glass walls level with the flowers, the person says "Hello." And "Anyone there?" A couple of times, but it doesn't sound like a person, it sounds like it's an old man talking through a old speaker. It's mechanical and off and especially in the glass wall lvl it doesn't sound 1st person. In the level 0 and this level, it seems more human but still off. I don't think the thing saying hello is or was ever human, it's some other entity. Could it be following our main character through the levels? Are all the levels connected under one or several sole entities that can talk to our mc, or maybe the backrooms have something like a proctor to talk to our mc. Maybe it's our mc's head messing with him. Who knows? By the way creator, these backroom videos are absolutely amazing and a work of art, I can't imagine how much effort it took to learn everything to even think about making something of this quality. Absolutely amazed and awed. Wow.

Interesting, I've had a similar dream except the General Atmospheric of the Large Indoor pools was A moody night blue, with Only the lights of the pools illuminating the place. There are Windows to the outside revealing A Endless dark abyss, with random crappy School-ceiling Lights scattered across the black Sky, And Rain glistened outside the building, dripping on a Floating Asphalt Road Placed at the Foot of the large window. 2 instances, One: this dream was activated when I had a Oddly Stressful week, There are Many slides, Some made of smooth slippery Fabric, others made of plastic, Water flowing softly throughout the building, Splashing was pleasant to the ear, rather than being very loud and echo-y as it would. The water is clean and safe. Fun place. 2nd instance: I recognized the dream but there were now people, One that looked like a Butler with a Face that was Actively Censored/Blurred, informing me that the water is under maintenance, and that I have guests. Never have i ever felt so intruded in my dreams, this was uncalled for. Turns out, a few of my family members were hanging out in a Nearby hot-tub, I went to greet them but only got negative responses from them and got called a narcissist... it hurt for some reason. This was very out of character for them. It put me in a deep Self Reflection state when the dream ended. It was a Overthinking fit, messing up my mood for a while.

I have an idea for a new level: The Jazzroom A incomprehensible space with a striking white background and constantly shifting multi-colored squiggly lines, almost like static. There is only one entity present in the jazzrooms, which are the Notes. They are smooth black squiggles with a white and maroon tint which have no identifiable features. The notes can be comprised of one long squiggle, or a collection of multiple squiggels, all facing a linear direction. They hold no hostility towards wanderers, though they will convert you into one of them by applying an unknown amount of force towards you, limb by limb, in a process that takes no more than a minutes. The transformation isn’t permanent, as long as you find a way out of the space in time. If you don’t, then you will lose any consciousness and the change will be permanent. The Jazzroom plays deafeningly loud free form jazz in the background, that is extremely fast paced and hard to follow. Human perception is completely warped when inside of the jazzroom, as things may appear to zoom in or out, or even condense and expand. The only way to get through the jazzroom is if you play some killer jazz (very cliche), either on a speaker on full blast, or on an instrument, preferably a brass or woodwind instrument. Playing bass will simply no-clip you back to level 1. If you do manage to play some killer jazz, the Notes will proceed to form a circle around you and seemingly guide you to an exit that previously wasn’t visible. The squiggly lines will proceed to straighten and contour around the edges, as their form begins to vibrate. Notes are hostile towards other entities, as they will proceed to completely tear apart and convert any entities that wander in into note-fragments, smaller pieces that bounce around, and can be used by notes to add to their form. Note-fragments excrete a sound similar to a high pitched piano note when they bounce. When entities wander in, swing music will replace the free form jazz, as the notes begin their attack. They will completely ignore any humans, as all of their attention will be focused on the entity in question, giving you a chance to escape, though these kinds of encounters are rare. I doubt anybody will pick up on this, but if you do, god speed. I hope this idea gets put into animation somehow.

I think your videos are excellent, clear effort to make our POV character feel human, especially reactions to the brief glimpses of the creature. I enjoyed the horror aspect coming through without any chases. A bit of friendly criticism which applies to several backrooms creators: analog VHS cameras record in 240p. Seeing the tape noise mixed with 1080p detail restricts my immersion because (and maybe it's because I'm older) I know that VHS tapes simply cannot achieve that quality. So, as a workaround, I set the video resolution to 240p myself using the youtube settings and greatly prefer that viewing experience. Overall, though, this is certainly in the upper echelon of backrooms content and your originality is appreciated.

Everyone is pressed about the title ''level 2'' but in-fact it is level 2 but of Poolrooms as poolrooms is separated on few sections called levels themselves, each one is supposed to be more dangerous as you go deeper into it

Your version of The Poolrooms is the BEST that I have seen. Best watched in the dark, I actually felt like I was somehow dreaming this! 😳
