You know this game isnt a sequel to Heroes because Shadow isnt in a Pod and roaming around free & you go to Omega and Rouge.

In addition to having plenty of things from Minecraft itself, they are going to reference as many Minecraft related spinoffs as possible to remind everyone that they exist and attempt to advertise them. It's kind of like how the Mario movie has the karts which were a clear reference to Mario Kart despite primarily drawing from Super Mario Bros games. That's not a perfect comparison, but it's close enough. The whole point is referencing Minecraft adjacent media in addition to Minecraft itself.

Yeah, seems more plausible for them to showcase the speed boots from dungeons here, but yesterday I've seen a scene where Steve (jack black) uses a severed zombie arm as a weapon. It probably just "makes sense" in that particular scene but at that point they should just go for full on references instead of doing plausible things (for a movie) that still don't resemble Minecraft while denying those references

Curly didn't necessarily deserve to be in that state, but it is meant to be poetic that after doing nothing about Jimmy, he became unable to do anything at all except watch and suffer. I almost hate curly more than Jimmy, because it is "good" people like him that protect bad people like Jimmy; he would be an easy problem to solve if nepotism and capitalist hierarchies wasn't a factor, since Jimmy is pretty bad at hiding his instability and narcissism.

Fun Fact about the PS2 era of gaming, Nintendo64 was still a better console, which could have almost modern graphics on it... however no one really put the graphics capabilities of Nintendo64 to good use. So people think the PS2 had better graphics while it didn't. KZbinr Kaze Emanuar has a video about him optimizing SM64... or rather it's what his channel is about... as he is making a SM64 mod.

I remember SomeCallMeJohnny did the Shadow game. Either a review or a let's play. But the bottom line to me is that it's very flawed from a gameplay standpoint. It has like 10 or so endings, done through a flowchart of stages. The problem is you can't just pick a previous stage and go for the different outcome, if you want a different ending you gotta restart from the beginning. Fixing this would be enough to warrant a rerelease, or perhaps a fanmade patch

I loved the shadow the hedgehog game. I grew up with it as a kid. It was my childhood and got me into the sonic series. Now ya it can get a little repetitive in some of the levels. 1:49 Speaking as someone who sees Shadow the Hedgehog as his most favorite Sonic character of all time, and played his game for hours on end to get every possible ending, I can sum up my feelings on the game as thus: It was great the first few play-throughs, but my god did it overstay its welcome. If I never have to find the computer room or that blasted 4th chaos emerald again, it will be too soon... I recommend giving it a try if you can, and then looking up the other endings online for how crazy they are. [ S P O I L E R S FOR ONE OF THE ENDINGS] In one of the more sane ones, Shadow puts a stop to EggMan. Permanently. Like he literally book ends Robotnik with a fade to black as EggMan cries out. The scene basically had Shadow deliver a "watermelon" splitting karate chop. It is crazy to think how wildly different things would be if any one of the majority of those endings were the canon one.

Honestly when I played the Shadow the Hedgehog game I loved it, still do. If there was any problems it was how the models for the Sonic characters themselves seemed out of place as while it worked in Sonic Heroes in this game they look more like plastic toys, with Shadow looking more brown than black like if he was made of chocolate. And point 2 would be how the flow of the paths worked, sure there is a true story and the rest are like interesting "what if" stuff for the game but the way the game presents how the events work as you play can make little sense. Example If you ignore any routes that involve Eggman but you go to the end that involves Eggman then Shadow comes to the conclusion that he is an android. And that only works knowing the events of Sonic Heroes but for this game without a natural flow in the game itself that gets Shadow in that frame of mind it comes to a big "why?". But other than that the game is real fun, plus all the weapons and vehicles are fun too. You can even use weapons from badniks, hell there is even a healing bazooka.
