I loved this. It started out as a Dr. Dray Vlog and then it kind of morphed into an episode of Seinfeld. The one eyed one legged bird had me laughing in tears. But the thing is I totally related to each and every one of the Rants. I've had days like this and it feels good to just vocalize it all out. My conversations with my friends can sound very much like this.

I had sold my home in Florida last year after losing my husband and moved to North Carolina in an apartment building. I have the same issue. I have the valet trash. They pick it up five days a week out of the seven the other two I take my trash to the dumpster. Yes, I am forced to pay $125 a month for this. I do not use their pail as I couldn’t work the lid on it with my RA so I told them I need my own pail. I abide by the rules. My trash goes out by 6 PM. It’s picked up by 9 PM. Other people are leaving their trash out at all hours and it stinks. I have complained to management about it but got nowhere. I miss my home and my garbage pails in my carport this apartment life not for me.

I read somewhere that "third places" are declining in the US, places that people go to relax and have fun outside of work/school and home. I think teens are just bored out of their minds nowadays lol. I remember we used to go to the mall, hang out at arcades, the movies, etc. when we were growing up, but those places aren't necessarily affordable anymore, especially for teenagers. Simultaneously, we enforced stricter curfews. If we don't provide spaces for them to have fun and "just be kids," they're going to keep doing stupid stuff like this at CVS and Sephora. lol 🙄
@ahnjahwasabi28397 ай бұрын

Happy Saturday! LOVED your "thought bubble" rants today! We ALL feel your pain in some way, shape or form. The "kid rant" was especially relevant, in that I cannot believe the lack of manners that exist among (some) young people today--I blame the parents, PERIOD. On a more positive note, there are some community movie theaters out there in the universe where quality films are shown at a reasonable price and the atmosphere of red velvet ropes and freshly popped popcorn (with real butter) still exist. You may have to drive a few miles to get there, but they do exist! Thanks for all you do!

I stopped going to the public library because its over run by loud, obnoxious kids playing video games on their computers. None of them are reading quietly so its super disruptive when you are trying to read a book or do some writing work. Really begs the question as to what the point is.

Actually, I blame the child for his/her behaviour not the parent. If a child is kicking my airplane seat, I speak quietly to the child not the parent. If the parent apologizes for the child’s behaviour I tell them that they didn’t kick my seat and do not need to apologize. I also believe it takes a community to raise a child. This may be old fashioned thinking but I still believe it has value.
