Good to see you again, Paul! One question: Is it possible that the rear control arm bushings are worn unevenly? What other possibilities are there, just manufacturing variations? How would one go about correcting misalignment at the rear?

Hello Brian, All the bushes are new so my thinking it that my result is normal, i.e. just a build up of tolerances. If it had been toeing out I would have corrected it by adjusting the lower 'A' frame by some careful measurements and calculation and then cutting the front tube to make it shorter (if it had been toeing out), sleeving it inside and then brazing it. This approach has been used successfully by others. An alternative would be to buy adjustable 'A' frames which I believe are available; used by the Elan racers.
