I’m truly excited to add this to my regular stretch routine. Right now doing the hero pose feels super intense, so I’ll start with a block or 2 as u suggested. Thank you very much. 🙏

I just found your channel. This is amazing advice! I will definitely be watching TV in this pose and using the computer in this pose as you suggested. My quads are so tight but I look forward to progressing in my stretching of these muscles.

So this was done in my childhood as a Japanese sitting pose in Judo classes the buttocks used to rest on the heel...so in Virasana does the buttock has to rest on the floor between the heels?

I've been sitting this way (accidentally) as long as I can remember! I came accross your videos because I wanted the stability of the lotus pose, but my shins rubbing/pressing against each other end up hurting. :( So my problem doesn't seem to be my knees. Was hoping to figure out how to expand flexibility either way. Silly question. Say we're able to comfortably hold that final recommended pose - the one with our back to the floor and arms outstretched (only tightens my belly at this point) - would spreading the knees for an actual stretch improve my mobility further? Thanks for the clear video guides! :0

Strangely I find Supta Virasana more comfortable for an extended time than Virasana. Yes, it is more intense, but somehow a more pleasant form of intense. It's difficult to watch television while reclined, though!
